Dels Truck Rentals
We found when we picked up our moving truck that it was an old diesel with a shift that was hard to put into first gear. We had asked for and received a hydraulic lift for heavy items, but we didn't think to ask about 5-speed/auto transmission and other qualities. Make sure you ask about the trucks available before you make a reservation. Parking is easy and they let you keep your car there until you return the rental.
Sunbelt Rentals
My husband and I rented a jackhammer to drill through a huge rock in our driveway. One of the tips broke off (hard rock!) but Sunbelt did not demand payment for a replacement, even though we didn't pay for insurance. The reason? One of the staff had promised us it would drill through rock. They held true to their promise. Highly recommended.
Pacific Real Estate Network
The owners at Pacific Real Estate helped us assess a possible legal issue with our property; we found that legal action would probably not bring the best outcome. They bring many, many years of experience to the plate. Friendly and down to earth. Highly recommended.
Nor Tech Fire Protection
The whole fire sprinkler process went smoothly, from design to installation to inspection. We were given a contact person's cell number for any questions and we were able to get all our questions answered whenever we called. Highly recommended.
Northlake Septic Service
The man we worked with on our septic drainfield was knowledgeable and friendly. He worked well with our septic designer (I was there when they met--very professional). The only complaint I have is time. It took a couple weeks for them to cover the drainfield (needed additional dirt).
Cherry Valley Family Grocer
A bit light on selection (sometimes out of all Sara Lee bagels, which we are addicted to) but if you ever want to know where the hillshire sausage is, just ask anyone! Friendly, local business, love to support it.
Security First Mortgage
Our broker at Security First helped us find the best lender and lock our rate at the right time. He was helpful when our rate was at risk for expiring due to our builder being late with finishing construction. Our broker's assistant was attentive whenever we called. Recommended.
First American Title Ins Co
The person handling our new mortgage and credit line was helpful when my broker and lender were not. She went the extra mile when I had a question about the terms of the credit line. The papers we were signing were confusing, to say the least; she figured out who I could call to get the information I needed. Highly recommended!
Cadman Inc
We bought a truckload of gravel for our driveway (high prices). The driver came out when he said he would and he was careful to deliver the rock as I requested. He was very friendly and it gave me a good feeling to do business with Cadman through him.
Ruff House Self Svc Dog Wash
I liked to bring my golden retriever here for the reasonable prices ($15) and certainty of care. Certainty because I was providing the care myself! The owners are full of good advice and the atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and homey.
