Stone Tim Stump Removal & Tree Service
We had to go through this tree removal service recently when a large Oak tree died in our backyard, posing a threat to our house. This service came out to our house in a timely matter, since the tree was such a danger. They gave us a written estimate and we called a few other places to compare the cost of the work. They came in about average as far as the price, and they were able to come out and get the tree removed much quicker than any other place. We went through them and they did a great job removing and hauling both the tree and the stump away. They had the work done in a timely manner and left our backyard in the conditionn they found it, minus the dead oak tree.
Frame of Reference
We used this company's picture framing service after buying several pieces of art on a cruise. They had a really nice selection of frames to choose from and gave us good advice as to which frames would go best with certain pieces of art. It is pretty expensive, since framing can often cost as much as the art work itself. We were looking for a place that would give us the best quality for the money, and this store did. We have received several compliments on the artwork since having it framed here and have also given several recommendations for this company.
Contemporary Computer Services Incorporated
When I was a student at West Chester University I used this computer repair service after my hard drive crashed at end terms time. They reviewed the situation and decided the best fix for the problem. They quoted me a price before any work was done and gave me an estimated time for completion since they new I didn't have a lot of time to work with. They were able to salvage most of the information on my computer thankfully, and the work was completed in time so it didn't interrupt too much with my school work. I believe it cost around $50 an hour and it took a few hours to fix. It wasn't cheap, but it was afforable for me being a college student.
Center City Clock Svc
When I recently inherited an antique grandfather clock that was no longer working, I set out to look for a reputable repair shop. Since this clock was worth a good amount of money, I wanted to repair done correctly, and the clock kept in it's most original form. Center City Clock Service assured me they could do this, and quoted me a price. They diagnosed the problem as a 'movement' issue and took the clock in for repair. It was ready within a couple of weeks and you can't even tell it was repaired, besides the fact that it now keeps time correctly. It is an great antique and I am glad I trusted this company to repair it.
Expert Exterminating
Several months after moving into our new house we developed an ant problem. They were under the bricks of the front walkway and were getting into the entrance. We found Expert Exterminating in the yellow pages and they came out to access the situation. They explained that to solve the problem they had to identify the species of ants, which they did. The next step was treating the problem, which they did over the course of a couple of days. We haven't had any problems since this time, and the company now comes to our property to do quarterly preventative maintenance along with each season so we don't have any further problems.

We contacted Brewer heat & air after finishing our basement last winter. We needed them to expand our existing heating system to accomodate the extra room. They sent a service technician out and gave us a detailed quote on the type of system they thought would work best along with some less expensive options. They were careful to work with our budget. We also signed up for their annual maintenance agreement, in which they check our heating and cooling systems twice a year in an effort to avoid any expensive repairs. We like the fact that we can contact them at any time if there is a problem with our systems. There haven't been any major issues yet.
Gallery Market East
I have been through this mall on several occasions since a subway stop lets off here and there are bathrooms. This is the only reason to go through this mall. It is crowded, dirty and hectic here. There aren't really any good stores here that you can't find any where else. There is probably a worse selection of stores here than what you would find elsewhere. Why shop here when the King of Prussia mall is a half hour away. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking to shop at a decent mall.
Olde Mille Race Wines
I've been here on several occasions, both with guests and without. They grow the grapes and bottle their own wine at this vineard. It is difficult to find good local wine in PA, but I really enjoy their product. It makes a great gift because you can't purchase their wines in any stores. You have to visit them on site. I recommend the Anselma White Wine, but for a small fee they have wine tasting. This is probably a good idea for anyone looking to purchase a bottle since the flavors are a little different, it is best to try them first. The bottles are very reasonably priced at around $12.
Heaven On Earth Catered Natural Foods
My boss was a strict vegan at one of the companies I interned for and she often went through this catering service for corporate events. I assisted in catering and setting up many of these events, and this company is a really good place to go through for anyone who has special or restricted dietary needs. They were always really good with specializing the menu to meet the company's needs. The foods were always fresh and good quality. The sandwich platters and hot entrees were pretty reasonably priced and they always worked out a fair budget with us.
West Chester Area Day Care Ctr
I volunteered here with a friend while attending West Chester University. The good thing about this day care is a lot of students have supervised volunteer time here so they teach the children a lot of new skills. For instance, a friend and I went to read Spanish to the children and teach them some words. The workers here seemed really nice and the children were happy. It has a spacious and clean play area and a lot of nice toys. The best part is, the children seem to learn a lot and have good supervision at this center.
