I continue to think that I can get a cheap haircut and it will look good. Then I end up going here to get it "FIXED" and they always do! So, fork over the cash and just get a good haircut. It IS on the expensive side, but every hairstyle they've done for me has grown out gracefully. Seriously, they fixed one of my WORST haircuts ever and I LOVED the fixed style, it wasn't just better, I actually continue to style it that way.
Jim owns a great store, where else will you find someone willing to deliver a kayak on Christmas morning so your gift will be a surprise! They also arrange trips for you to go on, both in town and out. They have a great stock of boats and are alway willing to look for what you want. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
We went here quite a few years ago and while some of the support staff has changed the senior minister remains the same. That says a lot about a place. I do know the current youth minister here is top notch. The church has a small town feel, you can get plugged in easily and you'll really enjoy any area of service that you get into.
This theater opened a few years before me moved away, but offered a small (SMALL) venue for a cheap movie. Clean and cheap are the keys! We say many a movie here and enjoyed it just fine. Easy to get to, parking is a bit tight.
We rented this space for a youth convention years ago and I have to say it was an awesome location. The space is beautiful and not highly trafficed. It was easy to arrange everything and it went smoothly. Would be a nice wedding reception spot (if a HUGE wedding)
Okay, you have to understand you WILL be offended and you will laugh so hard you'll about pee your pants. That disclamer noted, this was a fun night out. I went a few years ago and just laughed until I could stand it no more. Pretty easy location to get to in Chicago, expect a lot of smoke and to be tired when leaving (its a late night). But quite funny!
I attended here briefly, my husband graduated from here. They have really done their homework on being accredited and you can transfer SO much easier now. The education you'll receive here is great. Its a lot of hard work (no test once a semester, its papers, tests etc...). I really enjoyed the student life here and lived on campus while attending another school (you could do that then!). Met many wonderful lifetime friends, and my husband!
I went here for 2 years (transferred because I moved) and loved it. I did not live on campus and found that most students (at that time) commuted, that made parking hard, but really the campus isn't that huge, so the walk's nothing in comparison to what you'd have at UK. I loved most all my classes and felt that the attention from professors here was FAR superior to the other University I attended.
This is a great addition to any trip you make to the Cincinnati area, especially if you have kids. Its an awesome aquarium. Zagat even rates it as the best in the midwest. Also, this summer they had a really cool shake exhibit, not sure how long that runs. Check their sight for any up coming attractions. Really nice facility and located on the Levee in Newport, so you can SHOP when you're done!
Its a great spot for a relaxing afternoon date, a great place to bring your kid and any out of town guests! I've even seen a wedding reception done here in the lobby (very, very cool!). There's an imax theater, the natural history museum and children's museum all rolled into one location. Plus the building is beautiful!
