They have drink specials everynight. But 2 for 1 happy hour until 8 every weeknight. Also all the beautfiul books on the way and the movies playing in the back really set a relaxing atmosphere. Also, it is very easy to get to with the F train on the M15 bus. Plus it is in walking distance of great food. What makes the Library Bar special is its great drink specials (also the bartenders are not snooty that you are there for the cheap drinks!)
This place is great. It brings out the sweet tooth in all of us. So no matter what kind of candy you want, go there now! They also have ice cream. You can get candy by the pound or prepackaged containers.
They sell jewelry in this store and also do repairs. I went into this store to have some earrings fixed. They refused to fix my earrings as they said they weren't high quality enough. They earrings were a gift; so I don't know how much they cost. But from now on I refuse to send them any business.
This place really does have some one of a kind gifts. The best thing I saw there was a "I'm Too Sexy For My Diapers" one-zy for a baby. They also have great jewelry holders. Whatever you need, they have. They also have an extensive collection of Vera Bradley bags in case you are shopping for your mom.
This place has a rare selection of cheese and great bread. I am not a huge fan of cheese but this place is lovely store to stop in if you are having people over. They also have jam and lots of other yummy goodies you won't find anywhere else.
You can get a small cone on weekday afternoons for only $2.00. Also a great place to get birthday cakes (the person who does the writing does a really good job). Besides the fast that Tasti-D-Lite is a staple of so many people's diets, this one is also the most friendly. Not only that, but the boy who works there is really cute.
This store requires 2 forms of id to open an account. They also take a picture and put it on your card so that you can't share the card with anyone in your family. I did not enjoy my experience here. The one day rentals were 4 dollars and the selection was bad. It just makes you want to go somewhere else.
Everytime I have gone there without a reservation they are sold out. And often they won't let you into the theater until 5 minutes before the show. So there you are, stuff at the theater way early to buy the ticket - but not allowed to go in. But they do have a great selection and its nice not to have to go all the way into manhattan to see the latest movie.
The Christmas Carol at Theatre Three is really wonderful. All the plays all year long are a great community resource. Unfortunately because it is a small community so they have to recycle the actors over and over. But still it a great place. The theater is an old refurbished theater that is really breathtaking.
I used to dance there and so did my sister. This is a wonderful place to learn. The school teaches tap, ballet, jazz and probably more varieties of dance everyday. This is a great studio that challenges the dancers to learn and does not foster unhealthy competition.
