Tivoli Movie Theatre
this is a very historic place. If you dont know, the Tivoli Theatre was the second theater built in the United States that could support movies with sound. It doesnt play movies right when they come out, but by the time they reach the tivoli, you can go see them for quite a bargain. The Tivoli is much cheaper than any of the big name theaters like Cinemark or Loews.
Expressions Hair Design
This place is a little on the pricey side, givin all the parts of the business. It isnt that popular of a place and the staff isnt THAT great. In my humble opinion, it doesnt do much to justify being a great place, or to justify its prices. You can take a trip around town and find a few other hair places for cheaper. Overall i give this place three stars out of five because although it isnt wonderful, it isnt terrible either.
Dick Pond Athletics Inc
Dick Pond's is a favorite among many runners in the Chicago Suburb area. They have the most knowledgable staff around and have a great selection of high quality name brand shoes. Their prices are amazing and even have clearance bins where you can pick up discontinued products for dirt cheap. I have bought from there for years, and will continue to buy from there for years to come. Overall i give Dick Pond's a five out of five.
Berwyn's Toys & Trains
The owner of this shop is truley something special. This shop is a great place that represents a great hobby for everybody from age five to one hundred and five. They specialize is Lionel, and when i say specialize, i really mean it. This place is as good a place as you will find. Overall i give this place, Model Train Repair, a four stars out of five stars.
Beauty On The Main
My mom goes here all the time, and they continue to work their magic. One of the better beauty salon's around town and their prices arent that bad either. My mom says this is the best place she has ever been, and they have a very friendly staff that doesnt mind striking up conversations with you. Overall i give this place four stars out of five.
Wannemaker's
Wannemaker's is the ideal home and garden center in the Chicago land area. It is big and has everything you could ever need for any project. The founder just recently passed away, and i didnt think it could remain the same, but so far it has. Prices are good, staff is good and friendly, products are long lasting. Overall i give Wannemaker's Home and Garden Center four stars out of five.
Russian Shop-Maison Russe
Russian Shop is a unique place to take a trip to. Very strongly influenced by russian culture, its a interesting place to go. Not many places around here are as influenced by foreign culture as this place. This place, in my humble opinion, is a one in a hundred place. You wont find another place like it. I give this place three stars out of five.
Eagle Management RE
Four Lakes Condominiem Association is a respectible Condo association in Lisle, Illinois. Its units are nice and spacious and in my humble opinion, deserve more respect than they get. If you are new to the condo market and are looking for a mid-range place, this is a great place to look in to. Overall i give this place four stars out of five.
Laundry Man Cleaners
They do a great job cleaning and have a nice respectable staff. They are one of, if not thee, oldest businesses in Lisle, Illinois and they have been around that long for a reason. Their friendly nature and high quality service put them on a tier above any other cleaners around. Overall i give them four stars out of five, and i highly recommend them to anybody looking for a cleaner.
Tony the Tailor
The Owner, Tony, Is a very nice guy and is a great guy to do business with. Great service and a reputable business man. Best bang for your buck and one of the most friendly tailors around. If you are looking to get a suit custom fitted, or get one fixed, look no further than Tony the Tailor. Overall i give this place four stars out of five.
