I had a positive experience with this clinic through my 2 dogs. Their prices were comparable with other vet's in the area, in my experience. I would still be going there, however I moved out of the area and the commute didn't make sense. I found them to be kind and compassionate and reasonably priced.
Joanne Fabrics is about so much more than just fabric. Anything that is involved in the craft industry can be found here. The store is huge and allows for some wandering as you go from one type of crafting, knitting or quilting, to painting to sewing to scrapbooking to flowers. This is a fun store to spend some time in;
PROS: Lots and lots of crafting supplies
CONS: You can spend lots and lots of money.
I love this quilting store. If left to my devices, I could walk around in here for hours just touching fabric and imagining what I could make from each family of fabrics. The book selction and pattern selection is outstanding. The store is smaller rooms that open on each other and the time just flies as you wander through this wonderland of color.
PROS: Huge selection of fabric and color!
CONS: You can get lost in the wanderings.
This store has nice selection of needwork and yarn. In the Waukesha area, it is one of the best selections. They also carry a large supply artifical flowers and greens along with a professional arranger. Their framing departmart has been helpful for me also, I've had several items framed there and have been very happy with the results and the price.
PROS: Many types of crafts offered
This store is in a little house in Elm Gove. When there is only one or two peoplein there that is ok, but when more than 2 are there it is tight and stuffy. Because they have such a small space, they have a smaller display of yarn, if you need more, a clerk will have to get it from the supply room. This is rather diffuclt when they are busy.
PROS: Beatiful and Unusual Yarn
CONS: Small Quarters.
In historic downtown Waukesha, this unique gallery has many artist using different media. From color photography to black and white, sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewlery and more, it is displayed here. I had the opportunity to spend time here during one the the Art Crawls on a Saturday night and found it fun and enjoyable.
For a small space, this shop has a wonderful selction of fabric neatly catagorized by color and type. The books are wonderful and I could spend hours just wandering through this friendly palce. The women who work here are very helpful whether you are on the high end of experience or a beginner. The offer classes also.
PROS: Beatiful Fabric
CONS: A little off the beaten path.
This is a neat store that has everything from fine jewlery and womens clothing to Mens Wear, childrens clothing and housewears. It pays to go often because there is a turn over of nice clothes and new things keep coming in. I don't get something everytime I go, but I often find a quality piece with lots of wear left.
PROS: You can get some very nice items at a reasonable price.
CONS: The best selction is when you go often.
When I walked into this store I was stunned!! I had never seen so many beads, much less known some place like this existed. They are like a kalidescope of beads in every size, shape, color and texture you can imagine. They offer classes that are affordable and you produce a nice piece of jewlery. A very fun store.
PROS: So many choices.
CONS: So many choices.
I bought my Subaru Forester from Don Jacobs this spring. Their service department has been very helpful and considerate when I have brought the car in for oil changes. They have a ride van set up so I can get a ride to and from work. Their service department is great.
