I had a hard time with a high efficiency washer. I had to call out the repair guys 7 times in 2 months. They tried everything to repair this washer. They didn't get mad at me or make me feel stupid. Eventually I was referred to the manufacturer because of the warranty. The washer had a manufacturing defect and there was nothing the repair boys could do. I ended up with a new washer from the company ;)

We have bought stove coils from their shop. They have a lot of parts and things there to fix broken machines. They are pretty reasonable with pricing. They have a small parking area. I would work with them again.

Big O Tires

I had a tire blow out on me. I took the car to the closest place from work. They took a long time to change my tire. The prices were more than some other places I have been to. I felt pressured to buy an additional tire by the sales people. I did decline the other tire. The salesman said if I kept the receipt he would honor the sales price and give me the other tire then rotate them for free.

They are located on the main street near the laundrymat. The parking lot is small. I feel pretty neutral about them. They appeared to have a lot of tires to choose from.

Les Schwab Tire Ctr

The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. I like that they give me a service contract even on something like a tire. I can go back and get my tires rotated for free. They have a very nice waiting area. On the walls are all kinds of tires and rims. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to most in the area. They have ample parking. The last time I went there an attendant came out asked about the car took the keys and in 15 mins I had new tires.

They are located next to Kohls on main street and very easy to find. I would refer anyone to them. You'll like the prices and the selection.

Here's a little known fact. At 9 pm all the movies are 50 cents each. The teller told us that an hour before the store closes all movies are 50 cents.

Clark Planetarium

This place is great. It is a state of the art new facility. The chairs are nice and comfortable. The ceiling is huge dome where you can see everything from where you are. Great shows and very educational. There is a gift shop with all kinds of scientific items like freeze dried ice cream, rock tumblers, galeleo thermometers. I would go there again, the shows are always facinating. I would suggest this for anyone that is intrigued by planets and science. The people there are very friendly.

Hill Aerospace Museum

You can see kinds of military planes. There are ones from WWII, Vietnam and today. Some of them you can look into. There are so massive. Its amazing.

Lagoons RV Park & Campground

Lagoon is nearly as expensive as some of the major attractions (Disney, Universal) but you aren't really getting much more. After you are in Lagoon to go on the race track or sky coaster, catapult you have to pay extra. They are not included in the ticket purchase. They have food but for 2 people to eat at Subway it was going to cost us over $10 for something we could get at a Subway outside the park for $6. Things are still over priced, the prizes are not very good and the bathrooms are spread out too much. Another thing about the bathrooms is they were overflowing and none of the toilets in one section were working right. The funnel cakes are no longer there.

Weber State University

They have a wide selection of classes available and great teachers. The only draw back is the parking situation. Before the parking at the Dee Events center was free and the shuttle would drop you off at the buildings. Now you have to pay for parking. There is no free parking at WSU any more.

Deseret Industries

We do spring cleaning and instead of having yard sales we make a donation. Its stuff that someone else can enjoy and they have a form you can fill out for taxes stating the value of what you donated. Its a win-win situation.

Savers

When my daughter moved out we went to find pots and pans. She was finding cake pans, baking sheets, pie pans for 30 cents to $1 there. You can find some pretty amazing deals.

The people there are helpful. They have an amazing selection of everything you can think of. The pricing is really cheap. You can make donations and this is a great place to find retro costumes and clothes. They are easy to find and I would go there again. I recommend this place to everyone.
