Than Brothers Restaurant
Than Brothers always has good pho. This restaurant looks a little cleaner than the one on University Way. Pho is cheap too! The medium is always sufficient for me, and at under 5 dollars. Special delight? You get a free cream puff! I'm not sure if this restaurant has no msg in their pho. You have to be careful, some of the pho restaurants add a ton of msg.
PROS: Awesome pho! Good budget food

Nasai Teriyaki 3
On the Ave, there are tons of budget restaurants. And so if you feel like Teriyaki, I would go elsewhere. The teriyaki is so - so, the service isn't great. For the same price, and type of food, why wouldn't you go to Tokyo Garden?
PROS: Cheap food
CONS: Tokyo Garden is better. Service here is so so.
Tokyo Garden Teriyaki
Tokyo Garden has the best teriyaki ever! And at the price of around 5 dollars, you really can't beat that. Not only do they give you huge portions, but they also give you fresh salad with their awesome signature garlic dressing. True, your breath will be stinking for a few days, but it's worth it! Interior is so-so, it's not a fancy restaurant, but for budget food, this is it! They also have sushi, and other awesome dishes!
PROS: Great price, great food!
CONS: Interior, and cleanliness factor is so-so.
