East Potomac Park Golf Course & Driving Range
This is a fairly convenient golf course to go too. Located right off 395. Its greens weren't that great the last time I was there, but I guess it's decent enough. The place overall is well maintained.
Bowl America Inc
This is a rather dingy bowling alley compared to some of the other more modern ones. However, on weekdays they have all you can bowl from 9 - 12 for 9.99/person. That's the only good thing.
Oak Marr Golf Complex
The facilities here are good for golf. The driving range is well maintained and they have good operating hours surprisingly for a recreation center. You can become a frequent customer and get buckets at a discount price.
Fairfax Honda
This is a smaller Honda dealership. You will be better off going to a bigger dealership such as Rosenthal Honda. That is IF you need to buy a Honda, and buy it new instead of used from a private party. Bigger volumes should allow the dealership to sell at lower prices.
Crystal Towers Apartments
I lived here for a year right after I got married. It's at a great location if you work in the District of Columbia - right across the street from the Gateway Marriott that connects to the Metro. The lobby and gym are impressive for an apartment building, and we had few problems with plumbing/heat/air while living there.
Pomodoro Inc
Pomodoro serves some of the best pizza available in the DC metro area. I am from New York and miss New York pizzeria style pizza frequently. That's when I go to Pomodoro in Fairfax Towne Center (across from the theater and next to Moby Dick) to satisfy my craving. In addition to the good food, I have to say the service is good too.
New York Deli Inc
The food here is pretty good. They seem to have a niche with their loaves of bread for the sandwiches. However, I have to comment that their prices are a little bit too high for what you get in return.
Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant
This restaurant serves the best sushi and Japanese food in the area by far. It's a family owned business that uses the highest quality ingredients to guarantee excellent food every time. I would definitely recommend the soft shell crab rolls and the steak teriyaki. Also good is their udon and sukiyaki.
Neighbors Restaurant
This is a pretty dingy restaurant that has been around for a very long time in the same location. It's a good place to hang out when you want to catch up with some old friends. The food is average and sometimes good.
China Cafe
The food here is decent and the prices are good. You can get lunch for around $5, and you can also get dinner combos for under $10. The portions are good as well.
