I have went here on several occasions both to have my hair styled for special events and to have it cut. The stylists here are really good and always listen to what I want and try to match any special instructions or pictures I bring in. They pay careful attention not to cut too much or too little but also know not to be too careful and not do the style I want. They make recommendations here as well, as to what type of style will work best with my features. Depending on the stylist I get, I usually pay between $20-30.
I went here a couple of times to have manicures done for special events. I most recently had tips put on. They do a really good job with all of their work, and I always get compliments and questions as to where I had my nails done. I have seen them do a lot of neat nail art here, although I have never had it done. It costs around $30 to have my nails done, and the staff is always efficient and polite. I am never kept waiting long to have my nails done here.
They have a lot of neat stuff here for sports enthusiasts. A great selection of mountain bikes, along with skiing and snowboarding equipments. They even have a couple of kayaks. They helped me purchase my first set of skiis and gave me a lot of helpful information. They have a lot of nice apparal for the extreme cold such as Columbia sportsware, and waterproof gear for the outdoor sports. The prices are about average to a little bit more than you'd expect to find, but you can find items on sale.
I went here on several occasions to not only copy important documents, but I also purchased a computer for my home office here. I have always received excellent customer service at this store. I used their copying and binding service and I was very happy with the neat and concise results. They are very good at listening and following exact directions. This is why I made my computer purchase here. The associates told me which type of computer I needed for my specific needs, and I purchased one that was actually on sale that week. Many people have told me I got a good deal on my computer.
I contacted Pocono Tree when I had a large Oak tree that was dying in my front yard and threatening to come down on my house. They had workers come out that week and give me a quote on taking it down. I know this type of work was expensive so I did price them against a couple of local places. They had the best price so I gave them the business. The were experts in taking down the tree and I did not worry about any damage being done to the house. I watched the entire removal process and it was done with a lot of care and detail.
I actually won a free inspection here from attending a local fundraising event. Gregory's had donated this service, so I wasn't sure how they would perform as a mechanic. The inspection went really well. There were only a couple of minor repairs I needed done on my car, which I already had the feeling had to be done anyway. They explained what needed to be done and why. I was impressed with their shop and their customer service and I would definately do business with them again.
Although there might not always be someone in this office to help you during off hours, they usually keep the office open. This makes it convenient to stop in and take one of the many brochures they have available. When there is someone in the office, they always ask if they can help you find anything to do in the area. They are really nice and helpful. I have stopped in here a few times to find out about various attractions in the area and I can always find literature and help. This is also where the train excursions leave which is another fun attraction.
The bagels are are always super fresh because this place is popular with a lot of people and they have a high turnover. I go here in the mornings often and it can get a little crowded on weekends, but there generally isn't too much of a line. The parking lot is kind of small with difficult access, so it does make it a little hard to get in and out if there is a crowd. We love going here because the bagels are so fresh and they are often straight out of the oven. It beats bagels from the supermarket. The prices are average for a dozen bagels.
I can spend the whole day at these outlets shopping at one of their dozens of stores. They have all of my favorite clothing stores, such as the Polo Ralph Lauren outlet and Banana Republic, where you can find really good deals. They also have Le Gourmet Chef where I love to step in for samples and to purchase bottles of dip and mixes. I also love Mikasa and Pfaltzgraff which I shopped in after I bought my house and I needed new dishware. They have really good deals. The outlets are laid out well and everything is within a reasonable walking distance.
Go here if you love discovering local wines of different areas. I always pass here on a monthly commute and I have stopped in several times. They grow their own grapes on premises and all wine is bottled on site as well. This is impressive, considering many places import CA wine. They have a lot of nice fruit wines such as strawberry and apple. They are very light and fresh tasting. The wine is around $10 a bottle. They offer samplings here and tours on weekends. They also have a lot of events here such as wine festivals, but I have yet to go to one.
