After a lot of research, I chose this photographer for my daughter's wedding. I think they did a great job with the photographs and their follow up service. The photographer arrived on time and took some beautiful photos inside the church and then at the reception. We were very satisfied with the finished product. She allowed us to pay for only the photographs that we wanted. It was about $300 for her work for that day and then the added cost of whatever photos we wanted. I think this is an excellent price.
Sound Doctor
I purchased a stereo here a few months ago and I am very satisfied with the quality of the product and the price I received. The workers here were very knowledgable about all of the products they sell. This store is smaller in size, allowing for better individualized service. When I had a problem with my stereo a few weeks after the purchase they replaced it and also gave me a $10 gift card for the inconvenience. They are always there after the purchase to make it right, if there are any problems.
Guliver's Travel Agency
The travel agents here worked with us to plan our last vacation to Mexico. They did an excellent job planning the day trips, making sure to stay within the budget we set. Their prices were competitive to the research I did online as well.
The agents were knowledgable of the attractions and gave us tips for our vacation to make everything go smoothly. They gave us lots of materials to review. We were very satisfied with the trip we booked through them and had a great time.
Imperial Dry Cleaners
I have been taking my dress clothes and my husband's work clothes here for quite some time. All of the items have come back clean and in great shape. We have never had any problems with missing items or articles that weren't handled properly. The workers are always timely and polite. They are willing to work with you if you need items cleaned on short notice. I usually don't pay more than $20 for several items of clothing. They are a nice reliable, local service and offer reasonable prices.
Nail Love
This is a very down to earth and comfortable nail salon. I recently got my nails done here on a special for only $15. They did a really nice job. The facility seems very clean and I saw them cleaning the equipment in between uses. They offer other services, but I only get manicures here. The staff is nice and they give you a variety of styles and colors for your nails. The shop is located in a strip mall with convenient parking.
Vails Fitness Center
Vail's gym has a convenient location and the workers are nice enough, but it is just too small of a facility. The more popular machines are usually taken, and you have to wait in line for the treadmills and some weight machines. I do not recommend going here if you are looking for a full service gym. They really don't have much to offer. Their hours are not very convenient for those employed during the day, unless you are willing to get there before or after work. Their prices are pretty high for what they offer as well at over $400 a year. They need to get some more equipment before I would recommend them.
Shooky's Distributors
This is a well stocked distributor, conveniently located next to the IGA supermarket right outside of town. They have all the main brands of beer that you would want to find and also stock cases of soda as well. I've priced the soda, and you could probably find a better deal at a supermarket. The beer prices seem about average with the less expensive cases around $15, and the more expensive brands at around $30. The salespeople are available to assist with any questions. The parking is convenient and ample.
Costas Family Fun Park
This place is fun to visit if you want to spend the day outdoors in the summertime and enjoy the weather. They have a lot of activities that are fun for adults and children. I especially enjoy the go carts. The track is great. They also have video games, and games where you can collect tickets and tokens to win prizes. There is a food court as well for added convenience. This is a pretty inexpensive day out, with most activities costing around $5 a person.
Angelo's Bakery
This is a very good bakery that specializes in fresh baked breads and desserts made on the premises. You can find a lot of their goods in local restaurants around the area, such as Elegante's pizza place in Honesdale. They have some Italian pastries which are very fresh and good. The cakes also seem to be made with quality ingredients. The parking isn't too good and this bakery can be difficult to enter and exit.
Airport Cafe
I have flown in and out of this airport before and it is pretty nice. They only have one runway, but it is never very crowded here so landing and takeoff was pretty easy. There is also a cafe here where you can grab lunch really quick, mostly diner type food.
