Baltimore, MD Construction Companies 12/03/07: 'Not what it seems'

Coupon said 8 vent special from as low as 88.00. Please make sure you check prices before they come out. The girl on the phone did not tell me the whole truth about additional charges. I did like the technician who came out and felt he did a good job. He told his boss that I was unhappy about not being told the entire cost. Boss did not seem to care. I most likely would not use this company again due to this. They lost my business.

Washington, DC Family Restaurants - Washington, DC Bars & Clubs 11/06/05: 'It's ok, not great.'

I got duped into going to Good Guys by some guy friends of mine. It was my first time at a club of this nature and I was pretty disappointed. No real dancing, no lap dances. Just a couple ok looking girls standing by a pole that was not that close to the tables. I thought it was kind of boring. The 2 drink minimum was heavily enforced and the people who worked there were not the friendliest.

PROS: Not many "Gentleman's" clubs in DC, good location near Georgetown
CONS: Boring, 2 drink minimum heavily enforced.

Glen Echo Dance Theater

Glen Echo, MD Dance Instruction 11/06/05: 'Beautiful locale, live music, good variety'

Glen Echo is a great place for dancing. They have a beautiful outdoor setting which is perfect for dancing under the stars. They offer weekday lessons and every Sat. they have a lesson and dancing at night. The night dancing is fun because each week they vary the type of dancing. There is usually live music as well. Glen Echo is a wonderful park setting but it may be a little bit out of the way for some people in the area.

PROS: Weekend dance lessons under the stars, beautiful setting, live music
CONS: A little bit out of the way for some people

Joy Of Motion Dance Ctr

Bethesda, MD Dance Instruction 11/06/05: 'A wide variety of classes'

Joy of Motion offers a wide variety of classes in different locations around the metro dc area. If you buy classes at one location, you can use it at another. Classes can be pricey but the instruction is decent. Choose from salsa, yoga, swing, belly dance, ballet, jazz and much more.

PROS: Great variety, different locations to go to
CONS: Expensive

Ballroom Dance Company offers some good classes. The best thing is they offer dance socials. If you sign up for the email you will get a listing of classes and dance socials. The classes/socials are sometimes at area nightclubs which can be fun.

PROS: Fun classes, socials, sometimes held at area nightclubs
CONS: Can be a little expensive

Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness

Germantown, MD Health Clubs & Gyms 09/02/05: 'Very clean and new gym'

Healthtrax is brand new. New and very clean equiptment, friendly staff and a pool. It is a little pricey especially if you get a membership as a single and not a family plan. Parking is plentiful and the gym is part of a wellness program. For an extra cost you can get a massage, take a one on one pilates class, physical therapy, etc. For me, I didn't like how there were a limited number of classes offered and that the gym closed at 10 and closed at 7 on Sundays.

PROS: Brand new, very clean, new equiptment, pool, friendly staff, towels
CONS: Expensive for singles, limited classes, closes early

Gaithersburg, MD Health Clubs & Gyms 09/02/05: 'For the price not too bad, can use different locations'

I travel around a lot with my job so I appreciate the fact that for a very decent membership fee (very cheap for the area) I can use gyms all over the county and now in Virginia as well. I like the one in Germantown town a lot because it is not too crowded. The one in Bethesda can get crowded and parking can sometimes be a pain.

PROS: Decent membership cost, can use gyms all over for same price
CONS: Parking in Bethesda can be hard, Basic equiptment

Germantown, MD Elementary and Secondary Schools 09/02/05: 'Excellent school, great dedicated teachers, tight knit community'

Germantown is growing fast. However, Ronald McNair remains a tight knit school with wonderful kids, dedicated staff and awesome test scores. The school is top notch!

PROS: Great test scores, great staff, great kids
CONS: Germantown is a little bit in the "sticks"

Silver Spring, MD Shopping Centers & Malls 09/02/05: 'Good getting better'

Wheaton Plaza is getting better. They got some good places to eat on the outskirt of the mall- Chipotle, Baja Fresh and Starbucks. They have Target, Old Navy and Macy's. Some of the inside of the mall could still use some revamping though and better stores should be brought in.

PROS: Good eateries on the outskirts, Target, Giant, Macy's, Old Navy
CONS: Some better stores still needed

Montgomery Mall

Bethesda, MD Barbers - Bethesda, MD Beauty Products - Bethesda, MD Shopping Centers & Malls 08/30/05: 'Big without being to big. Ritzy stores but not too ritzy'

Bethesda is a ritzy area. Montgomery Mall has alot of nice stores but it is not overdone. Nor is it too big and daunting. One can cover the whole mall and not need a nap afterwards. The food court has a lot of choices as well.

PROS: Good selection of stores, not too big, good food court
CONS: Can get crowded
