Write Impressions
I went to Write Impressions to find birth annoucements for my son that was just recently born. I was really impressed when I walked in the door because the place was stocked with stationary, invitaions and all kinds of great gift ideas. The lady working approached me very politely and asked if I needed some help. I told her what I was looking for and she showed me all that they had to offer. I was happy because I finally found a place with more than a couple annoucements. I picked what I wanted and she helped me choose what kind of font, color, and saying I wanted. Not only do they have annoucements, they have wedding invitations, birthday invitations, etc. The store also carries all kinds of gifts, for all kinds of occasions. The only thing that is a downfall for this store is there location! They are in Royal Oak so they don't have their own personal parking lot, you have to park somewhere else and then walk there. To me it was worth walking to because this place really has beautiful and unique things in it.
Kart 2 Kart
I have been to Kart 2 Kart just 2 times but I can't wait to go back. it is an indoor carting experience that is out of this world. this is not for kids as the minimum age requirement is 16 and height requirement is 5'. these are the real deal, fast race carts. this place is huge and very clean. the staff is well trained and always friendly. it is expensive or else I would go more often. you have to sign a waiver before riding because it can be dangerous. they have a cafe and banquet facilities to rent out.
This is a great place for a bachelor party, my brother in law went here with all his friends and they had a riot, again expensive but so worth it.

American House Troy
My grandma lives at American House in Troy, there are a few other locations around Metro Detroit but this is the one most convenient to our house. This place is just beautiful. it's a senior living facility, she has her own apartment and although she doesn't need assisted living they do also offer it. they have activities every day ranging from a trip to the grocery store to a trip up north for the day. the staff here is always very friendly and it's nice to know my grandma can count on them. They have a beautiful dining area where she can enjoy meals with other people her age, nice to know she is being kept company. if you are looking for a place to move a senior in your family, check here. this is a really well organized and ran facility.
Northport Apartments
I had a one bedroom apartment at this complex until I recently moved out. I was living there for a year and really enjoyed being there. The apartments are really nice and in great shape! The ones on the top floor have cathedral ceilings which makes the living room look even bigger. They are equipped with a washer/dryer and a dishwasher and walk-in closets!! I know the place offers two bedroom apartments also but I'm not sure on three bedrooms. They have a big pool for all the guests and when I was leaving they were in the works of building a fitness area and a library. The rent was average compared to most apartments in that area, and your water and heat was included into the rent. The apartments are close to everything! There's Lakeside mall, gas stations, grocery stores, and many other stores within a couple of miles from the place. It's really is a great place to live.
Celebrations Party Rental
My family used this company a couple times, once for a wedding party, and the second time for a big family reunion. We went into the building and the staff was polite, and very professional. They help you with planning your party and figuring out what it is you really want. They have so much to offer too! They have many tents, ranging from 10'x10' to 100'x300'! Also they have tables, chairs, and even china. You can even rent dance floors, servers, grills, and much more. This place will delivery right to where you want it and then set it up for you. They really make everything much easier. They give you personal, and highly professional service. They make sure everything is safe and secure before they leave to ensure you and your guests have a great and comfortable time. I will definitely use there services in the future.
3D-Amusements
I went with my sister to this business to rent a moonwalk for her daughters birthday last year. They have many moonwalks and bouncy things to choose from. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They deliver everything to you, and set it up also. The moonwalks are very reliable and safe, they really make sure they are secure before they leave. I will definitely use their services again when my son is old enough to jump on one.
Lafata Cabinets
Lafata is a local family owned custom cabinet shop. they have a showroom that will just knock your socks off. we purchased our cabinets from our bathroom remodel here. they have tons of styles to choose from and their product is very high quality. when you visit their showroom there is always a salesperson to speak with and show you around. we were extremely happy with the product, we did not have them install it, we did that ourselves. the one downfall is that Lafata is very expensive, I guess with the quality of their work and dedication to making things perfect they can charge a higher rate though.
Music Box Studio
I purchased a guitar for my boyfriend here at the Music Box. I was referred here by a friend and since I know absolutely nothing about instruments was very happy when the staff was really able to help me get what he was looking for and all accessories needed. this is a nice clean store with a friendly staff. they sell guitars, drum sets, accessories. they also do service on your existing instruments. I was happy with my experience here.
White Star Movers Incorporated
We recently moved into a home from an apartment and used White Star to move our bigger items. they had a good price and were available when we needed them. we moved the little items ourselves and just had them move the larger furniture, which we didn't have too much of living in an apartment. the men who came to do the work were very professional and careful with our stuff, it was nice to see them care about our stuff and not just toss it around. they did their job quickly and efficiently. I don't plan to move again for a while but when I do I will definitely be calling them again.
Carl's Health Foods Intl
I am a frequent shopper at this health food store, it's a nice store with a wide variety of items. I mostly just get vitamins here but they sell stuff like body building supplements, food & books. the people who work here are friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. they have convenient hours and great prices.
