I took my sons here for just over a year or so, I wasn't impressed but was stuck coming back due to our insurance. No one was very friendly or took their time with you. It was handy that they had a lab right there to draw blood and do x-rays, there's also a pharmacy. There's frequently a long wait. For after hours care you had to find a different Cigna center, like an urgent care type atmosphere.
PROS: Easy to pay with Cigna copay, pharmacy on site
CONS: Impersonal service, quick in and quick out
We have a little way to drive to see Dr. Leavitt at Gilbert Pediatrics but it's worth it. We've also seen Dr. Guthrie and he's great too. I believe there are at least 2 other doctors who we haven't met. Dr. Leavitt is knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor, and takes his time. You don't feel rushed in and out of the office. There's also separate waiting areas for sick kids and those who are there for well-child visits. I've had no problems with billing and you can usually get in to see a doctor quickly. I think the fees are pretty reasonable too.
PROS: several great doctors on staff
CONS: no evening hours
Dr. Hodges and her staff are very caring and thorough. They stay up to date with the latest dental advancements. The waiting room is very pleasant and there is a nice little kids play room for while you wait. If you need to get in to see a dentist you don't have to wait days or weeks like some places, they'll get you right in. I think the fees are average and my insurance is always billed with no problems.
PROS: You can get in fast to see your dentist!
CONS: Located across the street from the Hostess Thrift shop (tempting)
My sons have gone here for several years and they absolutely LOVE going to the dentist! It's hard to believe, I now! The office has a huge fish tank in the waiting room as well as a video, but you won't be waiting for long. They are friendly, gentle, and have little prizes and cool toothbrushes for the kids. Insurance billing has been no problem. I highly recommend this dental office!
PROS: Friendly, caring staff...cool prizes for the kids.
CONS: They don't accept adults as patients.
Dr. Shapiro is the best chiropractor I've ever been to! He's worth the drive, if you don't live close. He is very gentle, but gets the job done and will get you feeling better as soon as possible. He is a Palmer graduate and practices the Gonstead approach/technique. I've found it to be very beneficial and effective. I believe the fees are average and they do run annual specials on x-rays and consultations. I can't imagine going anywhere else!
PROS: Very effective and gentle adjustments.
CONS: Hours of operation are somewhat limited.
