The new owners really took an old restaurant and really turned the place around. Today you can one can stand in line for thirty minutes just to be served, and trust me its worth every second of it once you try their delicious chulent or kugel. They have really good prices and the best prices for home tasting takeout food.
Kosher Delight
When I was younger and you did well on a test you were taken to Kosher Delight. They were expensive, but introduced the concept of fast food in my life. They were always considered expensive but in todays market are probably the best prices for kosher fast food. They also have a special room for parties or business meetings. I just love their snack boxes.
Dougies Barbecue
Doggies is the best place to get great American food. And with their all you can eat cuisine every Monday night one is only happy. Its a great place for a birthday part or just for a business meeting. They are famous for their super bowl platters, as well as for their catering. And one thing everyone orders is their fire poppers, I hope you do too.
Weiss Glatt Kosher Meat Market
My parents have used Weiss meat store since I was a little kid, and now I do the same. They have the freshest meats anywhere, and have free delivery if you buy thirty-five dollars or more. Plus they have great prices and make special sales every week. Its like the meat store you remember going to as a kid, not like today in the super market wherever thing is colored.
Mendelsons 18th Ave Kshr Pizza
Mendelsohns has the best pizza in town and is the oldest kosher pizza store in Brooklyn. Recently they expanded their store to take in the large demand for their great food. I love their pizza; you wont get a better price for kosher pizza anywhere else. And now they also make frozen items, which taste really good.
JERUSALEM STEAK HOUSE
Jerusalem Steak House has the best Glatt Kosher steak anywhere. I just love the Argentinean Skirt steak. You would think from their service and quality that the prices are expensive, but surprisingly enough they probably have the best steak at the best prices you will find anywhere. This is the place where I eat dinner out most, when something special happens.
Kosher Bagel Hole
Eating at the bagel hole will give someone the opportunity to taste what a real old-fashioned New York bagel should taste like. They have a fresh batch every ten minutes, and if they dont sell them out in ten minutes, which is rear, they will freeze it and sell it at a really good price. Every time I pass by I make sure to stop for a bagel.
Chiffon Kosher Bakery
I just love eating the cakes at Chiffon bakery. They have the best homemade cakes in town. When you come in it reminds me of the smell that use to hit me when I came home from school to my parents house. They have good prices but quick service, and when you stop there dont forget to buy their kokosh.
Womens Kosher Gym of Brooklyn Incorporated
This gym has the best and newest exercise equipment available. They really service their equipment well, always clean, nothing ever broken. And best of all there is enough equipment available, meaning you never have to wait on line to use a treadmill. They are a bit expensive, at a cost of more than five hundred dollars a year.
Right Place Inc
Well everyone in Brooklyn use to only buy their suits at the right place. They had the best deals, and you were always able to bargain them down. But today their prices are the same as everyone else, and their merchandise is horrible, in that everything is made in some Third world country. Therefore, I dont shop here anymore.
