Forest Creek Mini Storage

This is one of the nicer storage places in the area. They're clean and available in a number of sizes to fit your needs. They offer specials (like $1 for the first month) and the place is really secure. I used FC Mini Storage for 6 months and never had an incident or heard of any for the area. There is ample room to park your truck to unload or load your treasures and the owner/staff is great.

Playland Skate Ctr

This is an older skating rink with a huge skate floor. The decor is nostalgic with lots of lighting and disco ball lighting as well. They also sell skates and extra accessories. (this is a regular skating rink, not an ice skating rink). During the week it doubles as a Bingo Hall (mornings and mid-afternoon). It's a great old building and the kids really enjoy it. The snack bar is small (but the food and snacks are great) and the restrooms are for little people - stalls are not built for adults!

PROS: Great Old skating rink - Tons of space!
CONS: Bathrooms stalls are tiny!

Twin Liquors

This is my favorite Twin Liquor Store. The store is in a great location, it's large with a good variety of Wine, Liquor and mixers. The beer is always ice-cold and the staff is helpful and very friendly. The store is always clean with a Good Old fashioned store atmosphere.

Money Box

This has always been a good place to cash your checks if you don't have a bank checking account. They charge a minimal fee (usually 1%-2% of the total check) and you get your cash. However, the people that work in this place seem to all have nasty attitudes.

O-K Paper Ctr

O K Paper company is better than OK. They have the best prices in Austin on paper, envelopes, card stock and specialty items. The representatives are professional and friendly and can get you a quote in about 2 minutes! They deliver to your business, same or next day or you can pick up. Best of all they carry enough different brands for everyones preference. Just a great company to work with.

Sir Speedy

I've used Sir Speedy on numerous occasions for small print jobs and have always gotten quality work. They can do spot color as well as full color and they do it very quickly. I've worked with other Printing companies before and this one seems to have it all together. It's a company you can depend on, especially when you needed it yesterday!

Buffalo Exchange

Buffalo exchange has always had alot to offer in terms of unusual clothing. They cater mostly to the College crowd that like their individual styles. The assortment is huge for both men and women. Some of the stuff is priceless! You'll find plenty of 70's attire. The costume section is great as well. Not a place I go into often but it deserves an occasional visit!

Spirit Halloween Superstore

This is the coolest Halloween store I've ever been in. The costumes are very detailed for adults and children. The variety is endless. They carry all accessories, wigs, masks, make-up and more! (I love the new Chuckie mask and the pinhead mask!). So real looking. The prices are alittle high but you pay for perfection and this place has got the greatest staff.

City of Round Rock Parks & Recreation 301 West

This pool is one of the older ones in Round Rock. The price is cheap enough to go in but it's a smaller pool and all they have is a diving board. If all you want to do is cool off, it's good. Mostly kids hang out here. Not for the older 'Big Boys'. It's always clean but the lifeguards are not very friendly. I prefer the larger pools. If you're looking to rent the pool for an evening they do that and then it's pretty fun.

Round Rock Public Library

This is the best library around. It was good before but when it was re-done they made it better. Kids books, computers and videos downstairs. Adults upstairs. There's plenty of room on both floors, it's so well organized that everything is easy to find. The computers are free and the librarians and staff are so friendly that make you want to come back. They even have a Library Snake (yes, she's real) named 'Roxanne'. I love it here.
