From grandfather to the famous cat clock, they've got all the clocks that you might be looking for, or they can order it. It's really cool to be here on the hour when a lot of the clocks all go off at the same time. You'd think that it'd be loud, but it's actually pretty pleasant. The staff is friendly and fun, and they can repair almost any clock that you can bring in.
When I used to work for a hotel, we'd pick up extra tables from Aba Daba all of the time! They were always very professional, and their prices are very competitive to other places. When I was looking for a punch fountain, they had one, and it was reasonably priced. They even have decorations, and other things that I haven't even thought of yet!
Last time I was here, it was so crowded! They have about every Thomas the Tank Engine toy available there to purchase. It was fun to "help" my nephew pick a toy out for his brother. We settled on a little toy train. Some of the things here are pretty unique, and almost all are train-themed. Little kids just love coming here, because there's a lot to play with. My favorite thing is the train wistles, but if you blow it, you've bought it!
East Lawn is very well known in Sacramento. I've been to a couple of funerals that were prepared by them, and they've always been very appropriate and touching. Having studied the Funeral Industy a little, I can always tell when it's East Lawn because they wear lapel pins that match so you know which ones are helping. Their prices are very reasonable, and they really take care of the family. The Memorial Park is one of the area's best, and most beautiful cemeterys.
Luau Garden is a little pricey, but very worth the money. One of my favorite features of the restaurat is the very large fish tank right near the entrance with all the colorful fish. The food here is always the best. It's the best Chinese Food, and it's a buffet, so you get the most of your favorite foods. They have a pretty good salad bar, and the desert bar isn't bad either. In fact, it's pretty good! I totally recommend stopping here. Oh, and they also do catering. I once went to a wedding that was catered by them, and it was the best!
I came to here from Sacto, California. I needed a modest wedding dress, and they were the ONLY bridal store that I could find that had a modest dress in my size! They had about a dozen and a half dresses that I could try on, and I ended up finding the one of my dreams! Every other store said that they could "order it in your size", but I wanted to try it on. The salesladies are the best, and they treat you like you're the only bride that they've ever helped out. They also had all the other things that I needed. I ended up buying my dress, my dress bag, and my petticoat before leaving this store. Overall, a wonderful experience.!
Hard to miss this place! Right off the freeway, there's a big old sewing needle! Meissners has a lot of machines for sale, and it's a great place to have them serviced as well. Their prices are more than fair, and they have sales all of the time. Their classes are the best, and worth taking if you have an interest in sewing. Not a lot of fabric or thread, but sufficient for a really cute project. Oh, and they have a great quilting section as well!
The Railroad Museum is a Sacramento must-see. So many exquisite trains in one location, and a lot of history behind each one. You can climb up into most of the railcars, and even catch an education (but entertaining) film. There's a lot of docents around to answer all your questions. When I took a 5-year-old with me, his favorite part was upstairs, where they have about every model train on display. Even a Leggo Hogwarts Express! He spent hours playing at their Thomas the Train play area, and just had the best time. It's great for families and field trips.
PROS: Very educational and fun
I have gone to other chiropractors, and I always left feeling worse. I was recommended to Capitol Chiropractic by no fewer than 5-6 people that I respect. Dr. Jeri is absolutely amazing. She not only adjusts you, but she educates you as well to proper spinal care. It's amazing. I personally have felt better than ever. My pain is subsiding, I have more energy, and I care a lot more about my health. Capitol Chiropratic has a wonderful staff, and they are all committeed to their patients. They will also work with your individual financial situation so you can afford to go. Oh, and they treat children as well! You HAVE to go here, you owe it to yourself!
PROS: Absoultely the best
CONS: none, none at all!
I was personally against cityhood for Rancho Cordova. Was I ever wrong! The City of Rancho Cordova - City Hall is always implementing new programs that are good for Rancho Cordova. Slowly, the city is growing and becoming great. It's a central business hub, and lots of new businesses and hotels and homes are popping up all over.
City Hall is very attentive, and they take care of problems very quickly. They are available to answer all types of questions as well!
