Deep Clean advertises to be the best deal around, so I called them out to clean the carpets in the downstairs of my house. When they arrived, they really tried to hike up the rate by trying to find other things that needed to be done. They tried to that since my carpet is a light shade that I would need to purchase a stain gurd on they couldn't guarentee their services. Next they tried to get me to have my furniture cleaned for an additional almost $200. I ended up sending them on their way.
Mill Run Cleaners and Tailors
I was recently in a wedding for a friend of mine. Since I am on the short side, all of the dresses were to long for me. I purchased my dress form a discount store that does not do alterations. I checked around and finally brought my dress to Mill Run for the alterations. They did a great job and charged far less than I would have paid anywhere esle.
Flex Limousine Service
Flex Limo is the service that we hired for me best friends wedding. They were great! They arrived early for pick up with the limo absolutely sparkling clean inside and out. They were very accomidatingto our needs and helped us out as much as they could with the details and budget.
besides being a limo service, Flex also offers cab service to get around town.
Zee's Hair Biz-Electric Beach
When you really gotta get that tan, but the sun justisn't shining, then make sure you choose Zee's. Zee is a really nice girl and is so noce to everyone. She has very reasonable rates for her tanning beds and for her hair studio. She is the type of person who is not trying to take advantage of you and will give you the most for your money. I would recommend her for all of the services that she offers in her shop.
Happy Cleaners
You woldn't think of a dry cleaners as a place to take your shoes to be repaired. Happy Cleaners does shoe repair, though. I bought a pair of shoes for a friends wedding that I had only worn nce. I broke the strap ofnthe shoe off and was looking for a place to take it to be repaired since I spent alot of money on these shoes. A neighbor of mine mentioned that this store does repairs for much cheaper than a store that specializes in shoe repair. They did an excellent job!
Ladies Workout Express
My girlfriend kept telling me about Ladies Express Workout and kept begging me to try it with her sometime. I finally caved in and agreed to go. I was very impressed with this place. It reminds me a bit of Curves, but the people are mostly regulars who have been coming awhile and are very friendly and welcoming for us "newbies". I would have definately joined this one if I wouldn't have had to pay to cross the bridge into PA every day.
Joe T's Gym
Several months back I was looking for a new gym and I tried out Joe T's for about a week. I was not satisfied at all. Although this is not a very busy place, it seems to be more of a hangout for the younger bodybuilding type rather than people who are just trying to workout to stay fit. For this type of thing I am not willing to pay their prices which are a little high for what they offer.
Flex Gym
If you are looking for a really great gym then I suggest you give Flex a try. I have been a member for about eight months now and I absolutely love it. They have a very reasonable membership fee that includes all most services. Additional charges for training and tanning, but that's ok. Child care is FREE with your membership. Nursery hours are a little limited though...they close for a short time in the afternoon. The only drawback for mw is the early closing at 5pm on the weekends.
Jefferson Obstetrics & Gynclgy
This group of doctors is a bit of a travel for me, but I wouldn't use anyone else. I have been using them only for a short time upon the recommendation of a friend and they are great!! The qualifications of their doctors is excellent and I have never trusted another group of doctors so much. I have had other doctors I have liked before, but there was always someone in the group that was not to my liking.
Mane Street Hair Designers
Although Mane Street Hair Design is not my regular salon, I sometimes go here if I need to save some time. I normally go to different salons for each service, because I have my favorites. The girls at this salon are pretty good, though. I can get my hair, nails and eyebrows done in about an hour and a half and all at one place rather than having to wait numerous times at numerous places. Even though the prices are a bit more, the convenience is worth it.
