Advanced Laser Hair Removal Clinic

I've had several appointments at this clinic and have never had to wait to see the technician. The company uses the latest laser equipment and offers their services for reliable fees. They offer saturday hours and you can usually schedule an appointment just a few days in advance. I've been able to see the same technician for each of my visits and she always makes me feel comfortable. Prior to begining the treatments, she thoroughly explained the process and the expected results. The provide literature and have a video on the process as well. I've already recommended this location to friends and co-workers.

Bin 604 Wine Sellers

I often purchase my wine based on the label. this location makes this more difficult as they have so many unusual bottles and labels at such great prices. Many to choose from in the $10-$14 range although if you want to spend more you easily can. They have a nice assortment of wine accessories as well. A nice place to shop after you've finished at Whole Foods or if you just want to try something new for the weekend. Parking is available in the building's garage but nearby street parking is usually not difficult to find.

Basignani Winery Ltd

For only $5 / person (with souvenir glass included), you can sample the Basignani wines, enjoy some snacks, and take a tour of the winery. They offer events to teach you about the wine making process as well as to learn about the wine itself. They offer seasonal events that make the most of what wines they have available at that time. In the fall you can even help harvest the grapes and afterwards enjoy lunch and of course some wine. I can't wait to go back. The location is very easy to get to off of Route 83 and is a beautiful drive when the leaves are changing.

Boordy Vineyards Inc

This would be a great first date for almost anyone. They offer live music throughout the summer and the atmosphere is casual and lively. They have ample parking right outside of the vineyard. Tickets can be purchase online or at the door for all events. Be sure to pack a picnic (although they do have a nice variety of catered food to go with all the wines for sale). I recommend the Terrapin wine. Come early if you want a seat where you can see the band (although all areas allow you to hear them easily).

Chesapeake Wine Co

With wine tastings every tuesday evening, you're sure to find something that you'll enjoy here. The staff is very knowledgeable about their merchandise and is eager to help. The live music is always fun (and free) on First Fridays. They offer private parties, gift registries, and even have a few great drink receipes on their website. The atmosphere is relaxed and not stuffy like many wine bars can be. In addition to the world wide range of wines, they also offer cheeses, gift basets and wine accessories. A great place to get a quick housewarming or party gift.

Killer Trash

This store is great on the weekends when they spill out onto the sidewalks of Fells Point. They have a huge amount of vintage clothing and accessories that you have to be in the mood to pick through. If you're willing though, you should be able to find some accessories to suit your needs. They definately have the craziest and most colorful collection of items in the Fells Point area.

Ye Old Antique Barn

I drive by this re-uzit shop several times a week and am always amazed at what I see line up outside of the store. there is always a new assortment of furniture (often dressers, table and chair sets, and end tables). I would not suggest going there for items that cannot be cleaned well once you get it home. there is a distinct smell in the building itself that may be difficult to remove from some items. My neighbors were able to find a new gas grill there for only $25! It's a hit or miss place but you can hit big at times.

Mud & Metal

This store fits in perfectly with the vibe of Hampden. They offer a huge variety of gifts from the handmade to the highly unusual. A great place to browse even if you're not looking for anything. it's one of those places where you'll find something bizarre that you had no idea you needed but now you have to buy it. I appreciate how they support local artists as well as the neighborhood. Give them some free advertising by taking one of their free stickers!

Cycle World

My boyfriend took his motorcyle there for a begining of the summer tune-up and was pleased with the service. He had to call in for an appointment but they were very accommodating. The parking lot suitable for the average number of customers. He did, however, have to wait awhile to pay for the services once it was complete. It may have been a busy time of year so you might want to visit there during the winter rather than right before the riding season begins. Pricing for service is comparable to other businesses.

Fells Point Futon

We purchased a futon frame and mattress from the Fells Point location over 5 years ago. They were both recommended as good quality items and after much use, we fully agree. They offer a wide variety of fabrics in several textures, patterns, and colors. They have traditional and contemporary frames in several woods and metals. Again, the employees are very knowledgeable and will give you their real opinion on the product. They offer delivery for a fee but we were able to fit the items in my small car so it's not necessary.
