Waldenbooks
I have been hear a few times. There prices are what you see that was printed on the books itself. It is nothing to special, since im not the books type of guy. It was like a go in, find your book, buy it and leave type of place, for me at least. One thing though, their service is really nice and helpful when i wasn't able to find the book that I was looking for.
Aborn Cigarette Evergreen
I had to replace my house pipes a year ago so wasnt able to drink the water that flowed from the new pipes for about a week. Therefore, i had to buy my water outside, and this was one of the places near my house. I went there twice within that weeks span and their water is pretty good, service good, and price good.
Parrot Cellular
This place had nothing special about them. I went there a year ago thinking of signing and deal there because my friend recommended them to me, but when i got there, they had the same promotions as everyone else that I have been to but last in the "free" stuff. There service was good though so that was a plus.
Long Xuyen Gift Shop
This is aimed for the younger generation I feel because they have a lot of little gifts for sale that could be described as "cute." Their prices can be steep on some of their items but overall, it is very reasonable. there service isnt first class, but most people should be able to deal with it.
Edgie's Billiards
For a pool hall, this is a pretty big and fairly clean place fo it. I have been there a few times and have not been disappointed each time. Their tables are in good conditions and has a very pool friendly environment. I recommend this place to a lot of my friends after a friend of mines recommended it to me and all of us have not been dissapointed everytime.
Asby Sports
This is an all in one sports store for high school and college sports players. They specialize more in the badminton and soccers stuff, but they also carry a nice variety of basketball supplies, football supplies, etc. This place is mainly run by high school/ college students that actually played the sports before so they are very knowledgeable at what they say. The prices here are also really good.
Badminton Alley
My brother plays badminton and im frequently driving him here to either buy a new racket, re-string his racket, grip for his racket, bag for his racket, etc. They have a very nice selection of badminton stuff and the service is really good and knowledgable. There prices are also fairly reasonable because i have driven my brother around for his first racket.
Quickwash Laundry Inc
This was a good place to do your laundry if you live somewhere that doesn't provide a washer and/or dryer. They have a lot of machines here and is usually open enough so that when you arrive, you dont have to wait for a machine. They also have wireless internet access which i thought was pretty nice. And finally you dont have to pay with cash, but with a charged card so you dont have to worry about looking for spare change everytime you go there.
Maple Press
They are like a tiny kinkos but they also print a lot of school related materials. I have bought numorus printed textbooks from them and they are a lot cheaper than the print shop on my campus. It is tiny and hard to find, but their service is pretty good and price is pretty reasonable. They also do a good job on their bindings.
Aristas Flowers Dolls
I remember ordering my flowers from them for my senior ball, and they did a very good job. Every since, i have went back to them every now and than for special occasions and events. Their prices are reasonable for an established florist. Would recommend it to anyone who asked me for a florist.
