Healing Hands Day Spa
I received the worst service from this business and they did nothing to rectify the situation. I wouldn't recommend that my worst enemy went to this place. The massage therapist was also a heavy smoker. It really makes a bad situation worse when your stuck with a person who smells like a nasty ashtry.
Cashion Custom Homes
We looked into using this company to build our home but we decided to use someone else. They seem to build a good home but we didn't care for construction foreman. He seemed to think that he knew everything and spoke down to his contractors and others. In general, he seemed like he was on a power trip. While the product looked nice we didn't care for the attitude.
Simmons Floor Covering & Supl
We had all of the carpet in the main areas of our home replaced with wood floors. I was pleased with the product but unfortuantely the contractor that Simmons hired was horrible. He did good work but it took him over a week to finish a job that should have been done in 3 days. The day in his opinion, started at around 10 or 11 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m. at the latest. He moved at a snail's pace. It was very frustrating as my family had to practically move into a hotel for week and eat out every meal because the kitchen was so torn up. We were promised that the job would be done in 3 days maximum time and it took double that. Not worth it.
Brown Scott D Md
I have been going to Dr. Brown for the past 5 years. It is a small practice which I love. You see the same doctor and the same nurse every time. I don't feel uncomfortable at all around them. Dr. Brown has delivered all of my children and he has an excellent bedside manner. He is one of those rare doctors who seems to really care about his patients.
Denton Family Health Care
CCPN has 4 very capable and competent pediatricians. I have used them since the birth of my first child. I trust the doctors and my children like them. The nurses are extremely friendly and they love their patients. As in many doctors offices, sometimes the wait is long but other than that I have no complaints.
Holmgreen Susanne Dds
Susanne has been my family dentist for years. She has a great attitude towards her patients and does great work. She does general dentistry and if anything more is needed (i.e. having molars removed) she is great about letting you know and referring you. She has a very caring staff that makes you feel quite comfortable.
Neal's Italian Restaurant
Neal's is an out of the way little place that you wouldn't think had the best Italian food around just by looking at it. They have the best lasagna I've ever had. The service could be better but the food is awesome.
Freedom Protection Systems
I had this company put in a security system for my house and they did great work. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't want and were not pushy. They offer alarm monitoring for $15.99 a month paid annually. With tax it was $194.85. You can't beat that. Also, you don't have to sign a contract with them like you do at many other security places. They told me about other products that I might be interested in without being annoying about it. I bought a security camera for my front door and am now contemplating on having a camera system put in my house. Although I don't need it at this time, they do custom media rooms, audio and visual, phones, data, etc. I felt like they cared more about me, the customer, than many of the other companies who I had come to my home to give me a quote. I would highly recommend them again.
Beth Marie's Old Fashioned Ice Cream
Walking into Beth Marie's is like taking a step back in time. It is an old fashioned ice cream parlor on Denton's historic square. The ice cream is made in house and their waffle cones are made right in front on you. It has the old fashioned bar where you can sit at and look out at the square. The ambiance is of the place is amazing. It is great to take the family there or a first date. They tend to be more expensive than you average ice cream joint but it's worth it.
Immaculate Conception School
Immaculate Conception Catholic School has been a wonderful experience for our family. The facility is great and the teachers and staff are awesome. It is a great Christian learning environment for children and is great for all Christian faiths not necessarily Catholics only. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is thinking of a private education for their child.
