I dread going to the vet, but not here. They don't charge and arm and a leg, and are very nice people. For spaying/neutering under $20, this is the place. We take all our barn cats here for spaying/neutering. They used to not take appointments (first come, first served), but I don't know if that's still the policy. Call first.
Okay, I've never taken my car to Crock's (I tried once, but he couldn't get me in for a week), but I've heard over and over again that they do great work at a VERY reasonable price. If you have the time to schedule work, by all means give them a shot. I certainly will.
We were referred to these guys for reliable car repair, and we've not been disappointed. They done some free work on occasion when we brought our car in and it didn't need more than a little adjustment. I hear they have great prices on tires too, but we've only used them for repairs. We will continue to be loyal customers.
We purchased carpet, installed, from this business, and were very pleased with both the selection we had as well as the installation and price. They also carry reasonably priced remnants, which can be bound.
Three brothers run this family business. We've had insurance with them for a dozen years or so, for auto, home and our own business. Independent agents, they'll look for the best deal, and provide you with friendly and dependable service. I'd highly recommend McMichael Insurance.
Anita gave us a great deal on custom embroidered shirts for our business. She was a pleasure to work with, and I'm sorry we don't have more businesse for her. She and her husband manage the storage facility as well - new, clean units at a fair price, and an excellent location between S'boro and Ravenna.
Cindy's a great teacher, and works well with kids of all ages. She has a strong science and math background, as well as writing. She makes science fun, and is sincerely interested in each child she works with. I would highly recommend her for personalized tutoring.
Coffee, espresso, whole beans. Located in the Reading Terminal, this little shop roasts onsite a large selection of coffees. They also brew drinks. We always stop by when in the area, and have ordered beans online when we're not. Recommended: Balzac Blend.
You're treated like family in this local restaurant, where most people know each other, and the waitresses rib you (in a nice way!). The food is reasonably priced and tasty. A very relaxed atmosphere, and kid-friendly. All you can eat fish Wed and Fri.
This little drive-thru is hard to find in the north end of Alliance, but they make a great latte, consistently. They also have a selection of pastries and food, but the coffee's the primary draw. The hours are limited - they close at 2, and not all Sundays (call to insure they're open!). Prices are cheaper than most chains. I wish I owned this place!
PROS: Great espresso drinks
CONS: Limited hours
