I have been to Paper Party House quite a few times and everytime I go there I am not that impressed. The store is quite large and they have a variety of items to choose from, but the store itself seems like it needs a facelift. I believe it is very dark and some items seem to be dusty. (So you can tell the items have been sitting there for a while) The service has been ok and the prices are average.
I love to play mini golf, but I am not very good at it. Schooners has an older mini golf course, but I like it because it is not as difficult as some other places. This is a great place to bring kids or groups of people. Since it is a little bit easier it does not take you four hours to complete the course. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly.
I have been going to Yankee Lanes for years. During certain nights (Friday and Saturday) it has many young high school students who just like to play around. If you go on a Monday night then they will give you a discounted rate to bowl. It has always been clean there and they have good customer service.
I went to a wedding summer of 2004 and Jeff Rockwell was the DJ. He did an amazing job of keeping the crowd up and dancing. He played music which he thought kept the crowd entertained. He did not make nasty comments when the groom removed the garter or when the cake was cut. He was very classy and I will definately be using him when I get married.
This is a great place for anyone who is looking for a laugh. I have been to the comedy connection quite a few times (mostly to see Bob Marley) and I have never been disappointed. I like how it is small, you do not have to worry about seeing the stage. The drinks and tickets are reasonably priced and the wait staff brought your orders quickly.
This truly is the greatest ballpark. Even though it is small, it has so many great features like the green monster. Now you can even get seats above the monster. If you do go to fenway be prepared to spend some money. Like any other ballpark, the food and the t-shirts are expensive. My parents did the Fenway tour for 12.00 per person and they had a wonderful time. They were able to get on the field and learn a some history about the ballpark.
This water park is satisfactory. It needs to expand they have had the same water slides for years. They also need to replace the mats. They are looking old and slimy. For what you get, it is reasonably priced. I know down the road funtown/splashtown is being renovated and they are adding slides on, so I think Aquaboggan is in definate need of a makeover.
I went to Funtown for many years, but now I believe this is an amusement part made for children. It is definately not geared toward the older adult. During the summer it is very crowded with middle and high school students. I find it annoying that they charge you for just walking around the park. I believe if you are not going on any rides you should not have to pay for a "walk around braclet"
This is the lab where I like to bring my photos. I have had them developed and enlarged and I have never had a problem. They are reasonably priced and they can finish the job fairly quickly. The shop is fairly small and it could use some more lighting, but for the most part they do a great job with photos and I have been happy with them.
Everything in the store is made in maine! This is a great place to bring out of state family and friends. It has unique decorations and incents which will remind anyone of this great state. The store is clean and the staff is always willing to help you out if there is something specific you would like.
