Yellow Brick Road
This small Ice Cream shop is located 10 minutes away from Pt. Pleasant NJ. The ice cream is great and the lines are never too long. The service is always polite and very quick. Prices are also very reasonable. Worth the trip. Try the cookies and cream ice cream, its great!
PROS: very small
CONS: good prices, location, ice cream
Rivoli's Seafood & Italian
This family owned Italian Restaurant is always packed. They offer one serving meals that could feed a family of 5. The portions are huge. I am not in love with their food but many people I know are. The tour of Italy meal, (stuffed shells, lasagna, and fettechenie) is one of their specialities.
PROS: Huge portions
CONS: very busy
Pet Paradise
This is the best pet shop that I have ever been too. They sell all types of animals ranging from fish to puppies. Their are open dog cages with about 50 dogs in the back of the store. You can go over to the dogs and pet them or hold them. There is also a room with birds sitting on open pirches. The shop is great.
PROS: Puppies in open cages, variety of animals.
CONS: Expensive
El Meson
This is my absolute favorite restaurant ever. The menu is extensive and covers food such as nachos to cactus. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is fun and casual. Bring your own beer or margaritas to complete your experience. The only problem with this restaurant is the lack of space and parking.
PROS: fun atmosphere, great food
CONS: usually very crowded
