It's A Wrap Production
A fun place to shop for clothes that have been worn by actors on tv and movies. A wide variety of apparel, accessories and a few miscellaneous items too. The selection can be very hit or miss, pricing ranges from bargain to outrageously expensive. All items are tagged to let you know what tv show or movie they came from. Tinsel town souvenirs if you're visiting Los Angeles!

Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa
A beautiful place to relax and be pampered. With mineral pools, salt water hot tubs, a mud pit, and "lilly pond" to relax in, Glen Ivy will relax your body and mind. There are enough tubs and pools to fill the day. For an added fee you can enjoy a massage (advanced reservations recommended) or enjoy the Grotto with it's cave-like atmosphere and eucalyptis smell. By far the highlight is the mud pit. Smear on some purifying mud and bake in the sun before rinsing off. Weekday rates are lower than weekends. Champagne and food available at the snack bars.
PROS: Relaxing service at a reasonable price
CONS: Summers can be very hot, steam room and indoor hot tubs are uni-sex
Elegant Nails & Hair
With many stations, you will never need to wait long for a mani-pedi. At times you may feel like you've become a product in an assembly-line, but the manicure and/or pedicure you walk away with looks like and won't hit your wallet too hard. They have a small store to purchase a variety of beauty items. I went often before my wedding, and my nails were in the best shape of my life!
PROS: Walk-in service, inexpensive mani-pedi
CONS: No frills, if you're looking for a high class spa, this is not the place
Only Place In Town
The clothes and accessories are very high quality and cute, but at affordable prices for a specialty boutique. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great for shopping, or just window shopping.

Arclight
Beautiful theaters, large screens. The Arclight has a feel of an old time movie theater. The assigned seats and personal introduction from a staff member are interesting. They always have current films and a wide selection. You can buy tickets online, in line or from a handy kiosk outside. If you arrive after the previews are finished, they won't let you into the theater, so don't be late!
PROS: Comfy seats, clean, professional
CONS: Price of tickets higher than average, must pay for parking

I've always done my own taxes. After marrying an actor, we needed a professional with experience working with the entertainment industry to do our joint taxes. They were able to quickly handle our 2004 taxes, and tackled back taxes owed by my husband as well. David was very attentive to our needs. After one office visit, we were able to handle everything else with them remotely.

Need a notary for a reasonable price? This is the place! The staff is very friendly and the service is professional. They can accomodate any of your mailing, photocopying or faxing needs. Convenient location, though parking can be tough.

Marina Inn
The room decor is absolutely beautiful! Although the rooms are small, the furniture is gorgeous! Even the staircases are nice! Rooms of varied sizes, complimentary continental breakfast, helpful front desk staff. There is no a/c or screens on window, and the traffic can be noisy during commute hours. Still, worth the price. Located in a nice area of the city. Lots within walking distance!

Lido Cleaners & Laundry
The service is prompt and professional. Dry cleaning, alterations, rug and comforter cleaning. They also provide laundry cleaning and folding. The building doesn't look very impressive, but the service is very good.

Flowers on the Oval
Whenever I need to order flowers for my family, I call Flowers on the Oval. The always provide pretty, affordable arrangements on any notice. I have never been into the store, but am very pleased with their delivery service.
