Floyd's Thirst Parlor
I always really enjoy Floyd's because it has a much more laid back feel to it compared to the other downtown bars. This is a bar where I just like to go to hang out and talk with friends rather than dancing etc. The crowd is usually a little older compared to the other bars, but anyone will feel wlecome here. Also, I like the appearance of the bar as it is all finished wood.
Chatham Veterinary Clinic
I have only been to this vet a few times but every time I have gone they have been very friendly and helpful. I have some bad memories as the last time I was here my dog had to be put to sleep, but they did everything the could before it came to that. Their prices are much better than the other vets in town and overall I very highly recommend it to others.
Clowes Memorial Hall Of Butler University
I would have to say the education at Butler is top notch. Being a private school, it definitely costs more than the average university but it is worth it if you can get through it. I did not particularly enjoy the student population in my time there, but other may have different feelings. However, the professors and classes are better than any other school I have attended. I think about 20-25% of the students are greek so if you are thinking of rushing there is plenty of opportunity.
Gabatoni's Restaurant
Ever since I was a kid this has been my favorite pizza in town. Their thin crust is the best, without a doubt. All of the waiters do a good job and the atmosphere is good. I have heard some of the other food is very good but the only thing I ever get is pizza here. Also, they have a drive thru which is very nice to pick up a pizza or two on the way home after work. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
The Men's Room
I have been getting my hair cut here once about once a month for at least 15 years. The barbers are very nice and they do a very good job. There is nothing I hate more than when a barber does not do what I ask them, but I don't ever have this problem here. The barbers make it a very enjoyable experience and I know I will never go anywhere else.
County Market
I regularly use this grocery store for everything I need. The store is very well kept and clean whenever I go in. Also, it is open 24 hours which is useful for those midnight runs to the store. The employees are all very friendly and a couple times when I have had to talk with managers they have been very nice and helpful. Also, they have a very fast camera service which i use for all my pictures.
Knight's Action Park
This is a great place for people of any age. The have many different things to do including a water park, driving range, go carts, batting cages, paddle boats and more. It is very easy to spend an entire day here doing all the different activities and I have several times myself. Also, they now have a drive in movie screen so after the sun goes down there is still something to do.
Buon Appetito
Every time I have gone here I really enjoy the food they have. It is take out Italian only but it is great. The food is authentic and always fresh made. The employees are very friendly and they give very large protions. The prices are a little on the high end for "fast food" but I think it is well worth it.
Fit Club West
I have used this club for several years now. One advantage they have is several locations so you can use anyone you want to anytime. One of the locations is open 24 hours except on weekends which is very nice for after you get off work. The equipment at the locations I have been to is new and they have everything I need. This is definitely the most popular club in town so it is often very crowded about 5-6 p.m. after work. I usually avoid ut until later at night or go in the morning anyway. The fees for membership are better than the other gyms in town as well.
Golf Discount of Springfield
I buy all of my golf equipment here and it has the best selection around. The employees are all very knowledgeable and can help find the best equipment for you. Also, I have brought in clubs for repair several times and they have done a very good job with a quick turnaround. Anyone looking to add something to their bag should give this store a try.
