Rocky Mountain Chocolate
I love chocolate. Any kind is good for me. But this chocolate was terrible. Very nice store inside the shopping mall. I ordered chocolate covered strawberry and a bag of chocolate covered raisins. The taste was awful. Like a waxy taste. Not creamy like I would have thought. They had chocolate covered everything, like, bananas, pretzels, cheesecake, grapes and more. The staff was very friendly. Maybe it was me but I don't like the taste of their chocolate. Hours are same as the mall hours.
Food 4 Less
The best for cost cutting! This place is a great grocery store. Wide variety of meats and produce. Fresh bakery and flowers too. They have everything you need in a grocery store. Almost all brands are generic. Many are Kroger brand. I have never bought anything that wasn't good tasting. Its like a Sams Cub but with out the membership cost. Great hours 6 in the moring all the way till 1 in the morning.
Upland Public Library
We love this library. The kids section is great! They have a librar dog. All the kids love her. This library is huge, two stories. They have a great selection of music, audio, video, and dvds and vhs movies. The only bad thing is they are closed on Fridays...but they are open limited hours on Sunday. Plenty of parking. Great staff - very helpful.
Sissons Flowers & Gifts
This place has everything from fresh flowers, fake flowers, plants, gift baskets, balloons and alot more. They make great corsages and boutineers for prom. We have used them for funerals too. Nice tastefull pieces for funerals. Delivery to almost anywhere. Staff is very helpful picking out approriate flower arrangements for any occasion. I can call in an order and know that it will be great!
Anchor Lodge Retirement Village
My great uncle just moved in here. The staff is so very nice and caring. The place is so clean. They have this great view of Lake Erie from the dining room. Also have a huge fish tank that is really nice. My uncles room is spacious and they always keep it clean. The food thee is very good he says. Lots of activities for everyone to do. They even went to a Cleveland Indians game. He feels like part of a family there!
Church Street Bar & Grill
This place has everything. About 20 different wines, Lots of different beers too. Great atmosphere. 20 tv's all sports every channel. Tv trivia games. Also have pool tables, darts, and air hockey. Open everyday. Great burgers and 15 different kids of wings to eat. Try the scorcho ones ... Gets really packed on game days like, Monday night football, Super bowl it gets crazy!! Parking stink!!!
Moose Head Grill & Sports Pub
Really coolplace to eat. Out side seating too. Non asmoking. Alcohol free place. Rustic decor. Great selection of food. They have seafood, pastas, salads, ribs, steaks, soups and great sandwiches. My favorite is the BBQ sampler. Its hige. Constits of: babyback ribs, pork and brisket served with alot of fries. Great wjite chili too. They also cater!
Ghoulardis Bar & Grill
Nice tavern/ bar. Open 7 days a week. They have happy hour daily! Live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Usually really good bands! They serve really great food too. My favorite is the homemade soups. Their price are average. It gets really crowded on the weekends in the evenings. Nicely decorated. Parking could be better. Nice shirts for sale too.
Father & Son Septic Services
Very helpful septic cleaners. We didn't know anything about our new home with a septic tank. They walked us through all the do's and don'ts. Open 7 days a week. They take visa and mastercard too. Very professional, knowledgable guys. Came when we had a problem ASAP. Took their time to really explain things to us about our problems. Recommended some cleaning products for us to use.
Kohlmyer Sporting Goods Inc
This place is great for any team apparel. They do embroidery, silk screening too. They also have magor league apparel. Everyone goes here here for the kids apparel, like Southview baskeball, Vermilion baseball.... They also carry all kinds of trophies and awards. The hours are not real good, so call before you go. Great staff. Very helpful. Some really nice designs for shirts and jerseys.
