Aci Micro
This is an old school computer store. They sell parts, devices, custom building and computer repair. Paul knows his stuff! It helps to go into the store know what you want since they don't have a homepage.
PROS: lots of variety. on the busline.
CONS: no website. stock unordered.
Wright Cindy - Shoreline Family Dentistry
The really cool thing about this dentist is that you can download intake forms prior to the visit. This is unique and it's a big time saver. He's funny and made me feel really comfortable for my cleaning.
PROS: On the busline!
CONS: more evening hours needed
7 Cleaners
7 Cleaners was impressively quick with my cleaning and most of the time I get it back on the same day. Seating is good. There are a lot of shops nearby--other things to do while waiting. On a major bus-line.
PROS: service is good
CONS: can be pricey
Shoe Pavilion
You would expect some serious savings at Shoe Pavilion. The pricing for some shoes makes no sense particularly if the shoe has a "minor imprefection." More shoes should be in the $20 range instead of $40. That being said, they do have a large selection of shoes. Shoe selection for women with bigger feet are few.
PROS: Selection is good
CONS: prices too high for some shoe types.
World Wide Video Of Washington
I found this little shop while walking to the bus-stop. Surprisingly WWVOW had many DVD titles and some obscure smaller independent films, which is uncommon for most video stores. On a major busline.
PROS: Selection is broad
CONS: parking is a bit tight
Romios Pizza and Pasta
The meatball sub is one of the best I've had in Seattle and costs under $6 (it comes with salad and soup)!
I ordered through food.com. Never had to talked to anyone but the delivery man. The food was fresh and HOT not lukewarm like pizza tends to be. Romio's does have other locations but this location in Lake City is far the best--a lot of seating and parking space. Another big plus is that there are many businesses close by to window shop or just shop for after dinner fun. Delivers up to 10pm. On a major busline.
PROS: Good food. Great customer service.
CONS: menu needs update
Moms Teriyaki
I was surprised by this little joint. It's located near 155th and is on a major busline. The service was good. I didn't have to wait long. The prices are average but the food is fresher then most teriyaki establishments.
PROS: good food for the price
CONS: maybe a wait on the weekends.
Palace Of China Restaurant
Good chinese food. Fresh pot-stickers and noodles. Happy hour specials are average. Pool tables/karaoke in the bar area. The bar area is very dark even for bars. Gets very packed during Happy Hour.
PROS: Location. Prices. Pool tables
CONS: Parking.
Starbucks
Great Location. Near other stores. There are a lot of places to sit and people watch and to enjoy the coffee inside the cafe and out. Near Third Place Books.
PROS: Service. Location.
CONS: Can get crowded. Parking issues.
Autumn Ridge Apartments
Don't let it's location fool you. Very quiet. The grounds are extremely clean. Apartments have fireplaces. Close to Safeway, Shari's, Sears, the Central Market and various little small shops and eateries. Rents start at $550.
PROS: On Bus routes. Amenities
CONS: Near aurora
