Zips Drycleaners
I was satisfed with my drycleaning the few times that I used zip. They are very reasonably priced and fast. They got the stains out, what more can I say!
Terrell Elementary School
Ms. Gilliam is an excellent elementary school teacher. Their kindergarten program is very good. Anthony learned a lot of spanish and phonics at this school.
Hillcrest Automotive Svc
I got a new muffler at this place. They were done in a relatively short period of time. Was happy with the job they did and I was also happy with the professional customer service. Check it out for yourself!
Iverson Mall Cookies Incorporated
I have been to this little cookie shop so many times. Their snickerdoodles are very good. I also like their white chocolate with macadamia nut. They are expensive. I've paid 2 dollars for 3 little cookies. I am probably the only on keeping their greedy butts in business.
Camerons Seafood
Whenever I want a treat, I visit Cameron's. The crab gumbo is to die for. Their seafood platter is awesome and totally fresh. I've also had their low fat steamed seafood platter with veggies, and it is very good if you are watching your calories. Service is excellent as well!
Hillcrest Carryout
I didn't really care for the seafood platter that I received. The food tasted a little spoiled actually. I got a stomach ache from eating there and I've never been back. I would recommend Cameron's Seafood at Marlow Plaza instead (it's right up the street). Their food is fresher.
Sarah Beauty Salon Supplies
I was able to find high quality beauty supplies, that I couldn't find anywhere else. The clerks are not very fluent in english, so be prepared for it. Pay close attention to their refund policy as well. Better yet, don't buy if you think there is a slight chance you might want to exchange or refund. The become very rude about giving money back (even with a receipt). Not good customer service in my opinion
Bens Chili Bowl
If you come to visit DC, don't miss Ben's Chili Bowl. The good is great and inexpensive. The service is pretty good as well. I am getting hungry right now just thinking about a smothered Chili Dog with onions!
Marlow Ice Cream Deli & Cafe
This place is like a convenience store. They also sell hot dogs and ice cream. The owners seem nice enough, but the help is very rude. I got 2 sodas and paid with a five. She attemped to give me my change back all in dimes. I could clearly see that she had plenty of other change in her drawer. I told her I didn't want 30 dimes and I dug the change out of my purse, to get even bills back. She rudely threw the bills on the table and yelled " You're welcome!" , sarcastically as I walked away. Who has time for that? Not me!
Happy Garden
I was impressed with this restaraunt. Their food is very good and reasonably priced. The service is adequate. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, and want good food - come to Happy Garden
