I called to have a bouquet delivered to a friend who was returning home from cancer surgery. I ordered the flowers to be delivered around 3:00 pm and the young lady who took the order said they wouldnt be able to deliver them until the next day. I did not understand this as my friends home was visible from the flower shop it was right across the street. Then she said there was a $10 delivery fee. $10 to take flowers the next day across the street?!?!?
An elegant funeral home, this place is beautiful and provides a ton of space to accommodate large groups. The staff and owners are wonderful and compassionate and make the whole dreadful process a lot easier than it could be. Parking is ample and the grounds are charming and calming, providing a welcome breath of fresh air.
Lisas is located in a warehouse, with old stained carpet and an old worn down look to it. But the classes are great and the kids have a great time learning the gymnastics skills. They also are available to rent for birthday parties and the set up is pretty cool. We had a problem with the young girl supervising the party, she was quite rude, and they double booked the date of our party, but even with all that the kids had fun.
This place is the coolest little gift shop down stairs. In the front is all kind of little toys and gifts and in the back are beautiful colored glass pieces. Upstairs is an art gallery with some unique and incredible works of art. There are sculptures, paintings, metal pieces. The hardwood floors, gentle music and open loft area make this a calming studio to browse and shop.
This alterations place is always really busy, especially around prom time, so I took a chance at having them repair a few articles of clothing. I was extremely unimpressed with the quality of work they did. The clothing was fixed with a single stitch and there was an item that she said she couldnt do because she didnt have the right kind of sewing machine. I wont be using them again.
These guys are the most compassionate dentists in the area. Dr. Behrend and Dr. Hein are the best in the office. They are good at remembering their patients and being sensitive to those who arent fond of the dentist. Ive referred my whole family here for dental care and theyve all been satisfied.
This sports bar is nice place to go with your friends and get a drink. They play great dance music on the weekends but are usually too packed Friday and Saturday nights too have room for dancing. Theres no cover charge and the drinks are the same price theyd be anywhere else.
This gas station is always busy, rarely is there an available gas pump. The store is always clean, bathrooms as well, and the clerks are very friendly. I complained one time and was given two free drinks tickets for fountain or coffee drink free, just because I was unhappy about the wait once. They really know how to take care of their customers and their gas is almost always the cheapest in the area. We drive out of the way just to fill up here.
This YMCA is shabby and neglected. Its dirty and more disgusting than youd ever believe. My daughter did tumbling here and I put a note in the suggestion box after every class that someone should clean the tumbling room, and every single time we had class I sat on the floor next to the same pile of disgusting crap. The owner cares about making money and thats about it. However, the preschool is wonderful. Mrs. Tracey and Mrs. Bev are fabulous teachers and the kids learn a lot and have a great time. I wish they would relocate the preschool somewhere not quite as gross.
This hole in the wall is found in downtown Hobart, along the main drag. The place is really rundown inside. They dont have a big selection and if youre hoping to save money by shopping at a smaller place youd be disappointed there too. The price isnt any lower than anywhere else. Youd be better off going to Davids Bridal during one of their huge sales.
