Marilyn's Bakery

This bakery makes unbelievable apple pie EVER!! I am a huge apple pie lover, but I NEVER eat the chunk of crust at the end, its always too floury. But after tasting the crust on Marilyns pie I can never settle for average apple pie again. The mixed berry pie they had was way too sweet (we couldnt even eat it) and Marilyn the owner is not the nicest person, but anything is worth facing for that apple pie.

T's Pizza Inc

T's pizza is okay, but the rest of the food there is awful. The only good thing about it is you get a lot of food for a little price. In fact you can cater an entire party for really cheap and it's worth it if you want a lot of food reguardless of how eatable. The moustaccoli is probably the only thing that isn't unbearable.

County Line Orchard

Though only open during the few fall months, this place is totally worth the fortune youll spend doing all the fun things they have to do. This is a great family entertainment place, they have a ton of different varieties of apples that you can pick yourself, they have hayrides, a huge 8 acre corn field maze, a petting zoo, pick your own pumpkins, and more treats, like fudge and ice cream, than you can eat. Its pricey but so incredible, I couldnt even list everything they had to do.

CONS: pretty expensive

Patrick C. Haley Mansion

This is a beautiful place to host your event, such as your wedding. Weve chosen this location for our June 2006 wedding and I couldnt be happier. It is so hard to find a place that feels right. The Mansion is wonderfully decorated but it was rather disappointing that much of the history hadnt been preserved. It was very modern looking, not the classic old style we had hoped for by looking at the website. The woman that were dealing with is somewhat rude and arrogant and hasnt been a great helper thus far, I hope things turn around but its off a main road and its gorgeous so Im pretty much set.

PROS: BEAUTIFUL
CONS: EXPENSIVE, HISTORY IS LOST

I have delivered two children here and have had numerous testing and treatment done at this hospital and I would recommend it to no one. The nursing staff is rude and unprofessional; the hospital itself is old and dingy and is falling apart. Its the most uncomfortable place Ive ever to and I really hope to never come back.

trump casino

I went to the Trump Casino on the same day that I went to the Majestic Casino (see Majestic review). Both of the boats were surprising similar in set up, layout, and presentation. I didnt care for either to be honest, but something about the Trump made me come back once, where as I never returned to Majestic. I think there was a more positive tone there, or the fact that there were several people winning big payouts at the time I was there, and nobody winning anything on Majestic. Blue Chip Casino is my boat of choice for this area.

La Cocina

This place makes the absolute worst Mexican food Ive ever eaten, and Ive had some nasty Mexican food before. Being originally from Texas, I tend to be a bit of a snob about Mexican food up north. I have yet to taste anything authentic, though many places claim they are. However La Cosinas food was inedible. I ended up throwing mine in the trash, which wasnt a huge deal since it was pretty cheap, but heya girls gotta eat.

Signature Home Style

The HomeMakers Idea Company is a company that showcases their merchandise through home product demonstration, though the head office is located in Illinois and this is where you reach when you place a call to them. This company is very committed and caring about its customers, especially the customer service department. If you have ever bought a piece from HomeMakers chances are there is a sticker on the back with their number, when you call it youll reach their customer service department who will help you immediately with whatever it is you may be calling for. The company, in addition ot having great customer service, have a stellar reputation and has once many awards, including one by the Better Business Bureau.

No Regrets Tattoo Studio

I happened upon this tattoo parlor because the one that was recommended to me was unexplainably closed. This little hole in the wall place is wallpapered with artistic designs and drawings for possible tattoos. The guys there are the typical brusque tattoo artist kind of guys, but the art work is great. I wasnt given care instructions though, which freaked me out due to the fact that Im incredibly anal. I did make sure he used a new needle between my sister and my sister who went after me, and while the place didnt look the cleanest, all the tools he used did. I would go back just for the artistic talent alone.
