The store is clean, air conditioned, and the items are generally displayed nicely. There are household items, computers and printers, books, and clothing for men, women, and children. With so many things, it can be a little cramp. But it is a minor inconvenience. If I happen to be in the area, I like to stop by. You never know what treasure you will find.
Although it's not exactly convenient, I go to Pono Cleaners. Their prices are reasonable and I am pleased with the results of the cleaning. On a recent time, they even completed my dry cleaning faster than I had expected.
There is free parking but it's on a busy street. It can be difficult to parallel park with the traffic.
Our poor cat was sick and we didn't know what ailed him. We called the clinic and was able to be seen that morning. The doctor diagnosed our pet and had the medicines on hand for us. He was approachable, friendly, and helped us have confidence that our cat would be fine. We were assured to call if he didn't get better.
We have heard many positive reports about this clinic and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
CONS: Driving around the pillars in the parking lot can be tricky.
Conveniently located in a mall with lots of free parking, I went to Speedy Jewelry to repair an item. When I asked how much it cost, I was quoted a price and commented that it was a little high. He then discounted it by $5. I was not trying to bargain with him but I appreciated the discount.
When the repair only lasted a couple of days before the item broke again, they fixed it at no extra charge, even adding extra reinforcement. It was fine after that.
CONS: It may be challenging to understand their accented English.
This store underwent a remodeling about 2 years ago. They added a deli, bakery, Subway Sandwiches, and brightened up the interior. If you were careful with the ads, you might be able to find reasonably priced items.
But the parking is terrible. There frequently doesn't seem to be enough spaces and people park where they shouldn't, making it sometimes difficult to maneuver in the lanes.
The customer service is so so. Some people are happy to help you and others look like you're bothering them. I've had occasion when the answer was, "I don't know" and they did not offer to find the answer.
There is no way that I would recommend this restaurant. The food is nothing special nor would it's price justify this mediocrity.
On the night that we were there, the server spilled wine on my child and seemed to be sorry. The owner came by, asked what happened, and did not apologize, did not offer to pay for cleaning, nor offer to discount our tab. Not only that, she asked that we quickly finish our meal as she had a party coming in. If she had told us that when we arrived, we wouldn't have sat down.
I'm going to tell everyone about our bad experience there!
The food at this market is reasonably priced. What we especially like is the seared ahi and smoked marlin. Aside from selling fish, they also sell "plate lunches". There is ample free parking on the street. Although I've had delicious meals from this market, the food is not always consistent. Sometimes it's nothing special.
It can be crowded in the tiny space that they have. Sometimes the customers spill out on the road. But you don't have to wait too long.
I have not used their landscaping service but I have bought plants there. The staff is helpful, explaining the difference between the different varieties of avocado trees. They also give advice in how to care for the plants that you buy. The plants look healthy and are reasonably priced.
I would recommend this florist to my closest friends. The flowers are reasonably priced, they are in healthy condition, and the service is good. Even if we purchase only one flower, they wrap it nicely, put the water reservoir at the end, and tie on a pretty ribbon. All for an inexpensive price. We've had the occasion when a flower died prematurely, despite our care (clip and change the water everyday). They offered to replace it!
It's a cheery place to go to and parking is free and ample.
The staff in this office is wonderful. When a family member needed care, they were able to squeeze us in to be seen by the doctor. They are cheerful, helpful, and courteous.
I know that the doctor exercises. It is encouraging to be attended by a physician who not only practices what he preaches, but has the knowledge that comes with application.
CONS: The building is old and the parking lot is dusty.
