Plummers Home & Office
Plummers is a great well furniture store. With contemporary styles for your bedroom, office, living room and dining room. They even have great sales. There was a couch that I really wanted but couldn't afford. I went back to Plummers a couple of weeks later ready to buy at full-price and it was on sale! I really like the range of prices they have too. It's more expensive than Ikea but less than Potterybarn. I feel like I'm getting furniture that will last, but I don't have to over pay for it. The sales staff is nice and the delivery service is realiable.
George's Pipe & Plumbing Supl
Georges Pipe & Plumbing is the only stop you'll need to make when looking for bathroom fixtures. Even though they are pricey.....it's only the highest end lines that they carry. They have all the latest styles that you see in contemporary decorating magazines. When you visit Georges ask for Bob! He's the man! We had great service and they answered every question we had. I had such a pleasant experience that I can't imagine going anywhere else from now on. You may need to be prepared to pay, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
Pro Sport Physical Therapy
Pro Sport a great friendly local clinic that specializes in sports injuries. They have a great well-trained staff that maintain a really positive and up-beat attitude through your recovery. The prices are high, but the quality of therapy is well worth it. They are also very accomodating to your schedule. When my husband was going it was nice because he didn't feel like he had to bend his schedule around them. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend it to anyone needing physical therapy!
Laguna Koi Ponds
There is nothing quite like Laguna Koi Ponds that I've seen around. I didn't know that much about it or Koi Ponds when I went, but they have everything you could ever imagine to start or complete koi pond. My favorite part was looking at all the setups that they have on display. It was also great to see their selection of Koi. The staff is very attentive and are right there to answer any question you have. The prices are comparable reasonable. It was definitely a great find and I'll be going back for all my Koi needs.
Nu Way Cleaners
Nu Way Cleaners is a good dry cleaners with reliable service, good prices and a nice staff. I have been going there for the past ten years and the services has been really consistent, and I haven't been disappointed. I really feel like they don't mistreat the clothes and they can usually get out any stains. I feel like the money we pay is well spent and we are getting good services with out corners being cut. I really recommend Nu Way if you need just a general cleaners and don't want to over pay and get under serviced.
Andersen's Pet Shop
Andersens has been my family's only pet store for the past 20 years. It's where we've gotten all our cats and fish and we've been very satisfied customers after every visit. The prices are good, and the best part is the staff. They really love what they do and have incredible product knowledge. After you make a purchase you can always go back and ask questions too. The store's atomoshere is really welcoming and everyone is so helpful. Plus, the inventory is well maintained and they will accomodate any of your needs. I won't go anywhere else.
Jacks Surf Boards
Jack's is among competitive company. With so many surf shops in surrounding towns, it fairs just all right in comparison to other local surf shops. Their inventory is good, but don't have the stylish edge that you can find elsewhere. The prices are slightly higher than others as well. The staff is knowledgeble. The one thing going for them is they have a larger selection than other places. It's a good place to check out, but may not be one of your favorites if you frequent surf shops.
Tops Drive In
Tops has everything going for it. It's fast, cheap, quality and the selection will please anyone. Their salads are very tasty...so fresh and they don't skimp on ingredients. The burgers are really fabulous and they have tons of sandwiches too. There is a drive through if you don't have time to go inside. It's not an elegant dining experience, but there is indoor and outdoor seating. My family goes at least once a week and consider it part of our routine, we can't go without it. Go on a night when you don't want to cook....everyone will leave happy.
Wynn's
Wynns has been a staple in La Canada for over 10 years. The prices are a little high, but not too bad. The important thing to know is that their clothes really cater to mid-aged women. There isn't a huge range of styles for all ages. The staff is nice, but can be a little pushy....which makes the shopping experience less than comfortable. They have, however, maintained a fairly update style and it's nice to have clothes that you can't find just anywhere. It's also nice place for gifts.
Mission Tile West
Mission Tile has the largest selection of tile I've ever seen. After recently doing some remodeling at my home, I was referred to Mission Tile. I was completely blown away at the size of the store, the selection and the staff! The staff's knowledge helps make the store seem smaller than it is, and they really know their stuff. It was a great experience I had visiting the store and ordering from them. The prices range depending on the style and type of tile you are buying, but they are competitive. I highly recommend a visit. If you go here you won't have to go anywhere else.
