Bice's florist has been around for years in the same location. They always have GREA cash and carry prices on roses, and I've been been known to stop in and grab myself a dozen!!
For a small location, they have beautiful flowers, and beautiful arrangements - and they can make, arrange, and deliver anything! Their staff is professional and polite, and can give you honest and helpful advice.
I'd recommend Bice's over any of the other florists in the area!
PROS: Years in the area - great service, and reasonable prices.
and meet new ones. From playing pool to shuffleboard to darts, Pockets has it all. It's loud and noisey - just the way a "pool hall" should be - and the beer is cold and served fast. We really enjoyed the chance to unwind, and meet with friends.
The appetizers that we had were served hot and were reasonably priced, and enough to share.
PROS: Cold Beer and Real Pool
We started using Busy B's because it was close to work - we KEPT using it because we loved not only the taste of the cakes, but the beautiful designs and decorations as well. From baby showers to wedding showers to birthday celebrations, we are always looking for a reason to celebrate, and Busy B's always steps up to the occasion.
PROS: Great Cakes - great prices
The Vineyards is a nice place, but has more Arts and crafts than antiques. It's neat and clean, and each of the vendors keep their items well marked, and stocked but there seems to be a decline in business after a short time.
There are antiques to be found, but not as many as I'd like to see for an antique mall - however MANY of the antique malls around here have the same trend, so, I can't be too harsh on the Vineyards for that.
The Tea room looks nice, but I didn't try it.
PROS: Convenient location - Nice stuff
CONS: More of a Craft mall than an antique mall
I love the Fireplug Inn for my little dogs. They have plenty of room to roam around - even a TV Room! They are treated like home (read spoiled) and watched like a hawk. I felt comfortable leaving my dogs there for an extended weekend trip - knowing that there weren't any bigger dogs there to bully them. We also had the option of baths and grooming before we came to get them.
PROS: Caters to the smaller dogs (under 25 lbs)
CONS: Hidden retreat
There are several doctors in this group, and I can't say that I'd recommend all of them... but I would DEFINATELY recommend Dr. Noelle for children. She's patient, and genuinely cares about kids. She's a parent herself, so she understands the fears and concerns that you will have.
PROS: A great Doctor with a great staff
The photography is top notch - and the staff is excellent. You will LOVE your pictures. However - be prepared to pay. They specialize in family and high school seniors, but do a great job with any subject!
Like your mother always said - you get what you pay for.
PROS: Great photos
CONS: High prices
A Unique combination of flavors makes this an unbeatable fast food mexican favorite. Better than the "chains" and faster and less expensive than the full service places - it's always a hit with us.
We have moved out of Odessa - but everyone that makes a trip "back home" makes the first stop at Taco Villa (before even making it to mom's!)
The last stop on the way out of town is to pick up combo burritos and Taco burgers to take back to the others that didn't make it... Fortunately - they are building one in our new town soon!!
Not that you really have a choice - but watch your bill closely. Because of the way that they billed my insurance company - a simple surgery that should have been covered at 100% was denied, and after 6 months of fighting with everyone - I ended up paying everything out of pocket... including the Hospital!!
HEB offers a great facility and staff to get you through whatever heath issues you might have.
Heart attack, stroke, hip replacement, knees - they work with all types of patients to get them back to speed.
The staff was friendly, funny, and knowledgable. The facility was clean, bright, and open for other workouts after the "rehab" was completed.
