Giejda Landscape Contractors
Geijda Landscapers know their business and are very good at making recommendations for problem areas such as deer control but this comes with a cost. I am sure you can work with them to get down costs but their recommendations are expensive. I suppose this is fine for most of the larger houses in the area.
Hilltop Pet Resort
My dog would get so excited when we would arrive and she would jump all over the women that work the front desk. This place is somewhere that you feel safe bringing your dog. It is worth the few extra dollars to have your dog in the newer building with the heated floors. I love that they have indoor / outdoor runs although I get "upset" that my dog runs right outside and does not give me a kiss goodbye. Totally recommended - and I live in Franklin and drive to this place.
Franklin Kennels
I have brought my dog here to get her nails cut and they did a good job but they brought me to the back through the kennel and I would never board my baby here. This place is too loud which might seem like a bad complaint for a kennel but the dogs did not seem happy, dogs where in cages and have unobstrcted views of each other and bark constantly. When I board my dog I need to know she has room to run. Also, they do not bring the dogs outside enough.
South Wind Apartments
I rented one of their townhouses before they sold them and we had to move into an apartment. The townhouse was very spacious and a great setup but we were told that they would be replacing the countertops and they just painted them and we dealt with a frozen pipe burst and a leaky sky light. The staff is friendy though and I liked the gym. The pool is ok for little kids but annoying for adults. The apartment was not bad, the walls are pretty thin but not horrible. The staff is responsive when you have a problem but we had many including ants that climbed the wall to the second floor and into a bedroom.
Alara Farms
Alara Farms has spacious apartments in an upscale setting. The apartment complex is conviently located close to Rt. 65 near Cool Springs and only about 15 minutes south of downtown Nashville. They have good upkeep so the apartments look nice inside and out. The apartments are a little higher priced then the average apartment but you get your money's worth.
Wines Of California Gift Division
Wines of California is located at Pier 39. They have a huge selection of California wines but I find them to be overpriced. This is however a good place to pickup a souvenir for someone back home when you are visiting California. If you are looking to find something they likely have it and they have a big selection of celebrity wines like Kiss and Marilyn Monroe.
Eagle Moving Service
We used Eagle Moving Service to pack up our truck for our move from TN back to NJ and we were so happy we did. We originally thought we would pack ourselves but there is no way we could have done what they did. They were very professional - they packed the truck fairly quickly and very careful. They were very knowledgeable with how they packed the truck and fit everything perfectly.
Kauai Coffee Co
Kauai Coffee Company is a nice stop while on the island. They offer tours although I did not have a chance to take one. I really enjoyed their gift shop that showed the history of the coffee company. They offer tons of items to take home from shirts to their coffee and they have coffee carafes setup so that you can taste the coffee before buying it.
Truffles Fine Confections
Truffles Fine Confections, what more can I say besides truffles, yum. This place is located in the Prudential Center which is a plus and minus, you cannot walk by without wanting some. Their chocolates are handmade and they also carry gourmet candy. The truffles and candy always taste fresh and totally delicious. Not healthy but worth cheating.
Colonnade Hotel Boston
I loved staying at the Colonnade not only because it was a really nice hotel but because I love the side of Boston it is on. It is located across the street from the Prudential Center and a short walk to Copley Square, Boyslston and Newbury Ave. The hotel has a roof top pool which I never used but I love that it is there. And their restaurant is very good.
