The Orange County Swap meet is a great day to spend your weekend! There are so many local vendors there, there is so much to choose from, and much to buy. The deals are unbeatable, and there is so much to choose from. You need it, they've probably got it!
The Santa Ana Zoo is small, inexpensive and a great way to spend a day with the family. They have a great little petting zoo, and some great featured areas. This place proves that you don't have to be a kid to have fun here. My husband and I went and had a blast. You can find discounts at many locations throughout Orange County.
Body Centre, located in Costa Mesa has some of the best specials for massage I've ever seen! I purchased an hour-and-a-half massage, and paid only $69. The massage was wonderful and relaxing. The environment was one of true calm and tranquil. Would suggest this to anyone!
The Nail Spa is a bit more pricey than other local nail salons, however, they did a wonderful job! Typically, when I get acylic nails, they break easily or fall off. I tried the Nail Spa for a full set of nails for my wedding. I was so surprised, the nails lasted through the wedding and our Jamaican honeymood-and them some! It's worth the price!
Traditions, located in the Albertson's shopping center is a cute little country store. They have great decorations to help furnish your home, or to give as a gift. They have wonderful-smelling Yankee candles at their store! All the items available in this story is one that would match your country-style home. Very cute!
Footsies, located on Baker street in Costa Mesa always has THE BEST deals in town! I got 3 pairs of shoes for $25! The Footsies warehouse is huge, and carries shoes for men, woman and children. They have everything, from boots, to casual shoes, to fancy shoes. They have it all! Great store!
Gi Gi, which is run by the same owners of Lu Lu's carries some of the cutest shoes around! They carry famous name-brand shoes, all which are high quality. They are all for woman, and tend to be more of a dressy type of shoe. The shoes are a bit pricey-but worth it!
The El Rey Theater has been around Chico for many, many years. It's an older-vintage-type theater. It's very nostalgic. It was closed at one time due to a fire. After it was restored, it was re-opened and is more alive in Chico then ever! The inside architechture is beatiful and resembles almost an actual theater. The stadium-style seating makes it easy to have a completely full theater, and be able to view the film comfertably. They have discounts for local students.
Made in Chico, carries everything -which is made in Chico! This may be the perfect souivener to bring home to anyone. They carry everything from lotions, to honey, to jelly. It's a cute little store and has some great gifts! Also, this is located centrally in downtown Chico.
Bird In Hand, located in downtown Chico, on Broadway street has the greatest little trinkets and souiveners in town. This store can easily be your one-stop-shop for your holiday gift giving for the entire family! They carry everything that is in "season" with the current holiday. This is a great place to find your Christmas and Chanakah goods. Prices are pretty reasonable.
