My family orders from this Donato's several times a month. Our food is always hot and the orders have always been correct. They are much easier to get into on the phone than Pizza Hut, which is one of the reasons we now call them first. They have a good menu with a lot of choices, and are cooperative about making pizzas "half and half." Their deliveries are on time and the pizza is always in good shape in the box.
PROS: On-time delivery, hot food and correct orders
Several co-workers and I ordered from this Donato's at least four times last year. Each time, either the delivery was so late that I didn't get to eat lunch (past my lunch hour!), they forgot at least one person's food, or the order was not correct. Although they offer to fix it, once it is past my lunch time, it's a moot point. When we call back about a problem, the staff acts like it is a pain to deal with their errors. We no longer order from this Donato's, which is unfortunate because they could get a lot of business from our school and offices.
CONS: Late delivery, incorrect orders, missing items
I have been going here for over 20 years. My teenaged daughters both use it too. I can get my color retouched for $25, and it is a better job than I can get out in an expensive salon. They use Redken products and my hair always looks great. They have monthly specials that are a lot of fun to try (scalp treatments, styles, etc.). They also offer more extensive facials and back facials by the esthetics students, that are outstanding. I have also had manicures and pedicures there. The nice thing is that although it is done by students, if they are unsure of something, they immediately get an instructor, and you know that they are doing it right. It has a nice atmosphere and is a good place to unwind and get some great services.
PROS: Inexpensive, excellent services, convenient, good hours
Unlike the Southport Road branch, this bank seems very committed to customer service. They have multiple teller windows open, their drive-up service is quick, and any time I need to ask a question or get additional info, they seem very eager to help out. I became a Fifth Third customer because this was my "old" branch of the prior bank, and many of the employees stayed on after the transition. Although a lot of them have since retired, the same feeling seems to stay in this branch -- they are there to serve their customers. I have never had a problem with the ATM, and use it often. I have called them to ask questions about my account, and have always received satisfactory answers.
PROS: Friendly, professional, quick service and a reliable ATM
Although this branch is the closest to my home, I avoid it like the plague. The inside windows are always understaffed when I go in, although there are always a number of people in the offices. I have stood in line many times listening to the only open teller chitchat with the client. The ATM is very unreliable, frequently has the "This machine out of service" display on its screen. Although there are multiple drive-up windows, it is rare to see more than one open. Given the area this back serves, I am surprised they haven't made more of an effort to effectively serve their customers.
CONS: Slow, few open tellers/drive-up windows, unreliable ATM
I have purchased tow cars from this dealership, and have had all work done on the most recent one at the dealership. I am normally very leery of dealership repairs/maintenance service, but these people are excellent. I have always had my car back when promised, and the one time it was going to go longer than originally planned, they had a rental car for me immediately. They explain everything they do, have a comfortable place to wait (with complimentary fountain drinks, coffee, water and cookies), and their prices are very reasonable. I usually get a follow-up call within 24 hours to make sure I am happy with whatever was done. And I always get a car wash!
PROS: Friendly, professional, dependable and reasonably priced
We have had our dog and two cats treated at the Paw Patch. Our dog required major surgery, had to have his ACL rebuilt. They were great, kept us totally informed and were very kind and compassionate to him at all times. I have used their grooming service and am very satisfied with both the service and the price. The doctors rotate days at the Paw Patch, so my animals have seen several at different times, but all of the vets have been very professional but very kind. I think Dr. Tysklind is a "dog whisperer!" I also appreciate being treated like I have a brain when they are talking to me about my animals' health care.
PROS: Professional, compassionate, reasonable in price
