I have gone to this place twice now, and each time I have received excellent service. The stylists are very friendly and helpful and more than willing to give advice if you are unsure of what look you are aiming to achieve. They use top quality products (whereas I have been to some places that used drug store shampoos and conditioners) and frequently offer sales on their products, so if they use something you like, you can save a little money. They're not the cheapest place around, but all in all, they are great for the money. I have never had to wait more than five minutes for a haircut.
PROS: quick, inexpensive, good quality, friendly atmosphere
I've noticed a number of brand name items - such as CVS items - being sold at this location, and I can't imagine that's legal. Not to mention the store is ALWAYS a wreck, workers look like they'd rather be shot in the head than working there, and their selection isn't that great.
I love Wal*Mart stores that are open 24/7 - great place if you get the munchies in the middle of the night. Parking lot is absolutely horrendous, with tight lanes and bad drivers, so it's often a crap shoot of "Will my car get hit today?" Very well stocked, friendly workers, even late at night, and well lit. Grocery sections are stocked well.
I absolutely love GAP's quality of clothing, and the wonderful smooth, silky feel of their shirts. i also love how they often are tagless! This store is VERY big, very well-lit, and always well-stocked. I've never seen this store messy, and I've never been treated like dirt by the employees.
I remember eagerly awaiting the opening of this store while in college at Suny Albany, as one had been in my home town for years and I ADORED it. Best friend and I were there opening day. Prices are always great, often running wonderful deals, sales racks are always a wreck though, but salespeople are always helpful and willing to dig with you looking for a particular item in your size. Rarely out of stock of what I am looking for. Always manage to blow a lot of money even when looking for only one item!
This store is always dirty, understocked, poorly lighted, and the employees are trashy and nasty to shoppers. Their hiring practices are abhorable, offering 5.15 an hour to people even if they have 5+ years of retail experience. Often out of stock of sale items, shopping here is not a pleasant experience.
This store has some of the best-smelling candle scents I've ever encountered, such as their relatively new cherry lemonade - absolutely mouth-watering. Prices can sometimes be a little high, but considering the typical life of a large candle, it can be easily overlooked. Great place if looking for personal use or for gift purchases.
This bar was a great place to go on Halloween - upstairs dance club plays a variety of music depending on the night, and has a lighted stage AND a cage! Stairs leading up are very steep though and likely a problem for the severely drunk. Outside area as well.
This is one diverse, interesting strip club. The girls are all friendly and, above all else, real. There are dancers of all types, from rail-thin to chubby, all nationalities, everything. They don't mind stopping and chitchatting, and while drinks are overpriced, it's not that bad. When you walk in to a girl stripping to Comfortably Numb, followed by a country act, followed by some hard rock, you know you'll be kept entertained.
For a younger (18-15) age bracket, this might not be the place to go for a wild night out. Older crowd, tiny dance floor, interesting people showing up for kareoke night. Not a bad bar at all, I appreciate a more quiet, country-like atmopshere to the crushing press of bodies in more popular places.
