Bob Nichols Floors
Just recently I was looking to redo the not carpet in my office. I told someone about it and they told me about Bob Nichols Floors so i went there and asked them for a quote on how much it would be for the entire office. I was very pleased in the price that they gave me but still i didnt want to rush into it and decided to look around for a better deal after about 3 weeks of non stop searching I noticed that no one was coming close to the price that bob's had told me so I went and had them install the carpet in my office.
Rolando's Super Taco
Oh my god this place is the best when it comes to tacos every mourning I go to Rolandos and have there special a Rolando taco which has bacon, eggs, beans, and cheese oh and the best homemade tortillia that there is. That taco starts my day off right and I usually have enough left for lunch. Rolandos is the best taco place in San Antonio in my opinion.
Olmos Barber Shop
I was getting ready for a wedding that I was going to and it was time for a haircut so I asked my wife for one which I now know was a horrible idea she chopped it up so bad and it made me so mad that I had to leave the house. I was driving along and I came across Olmos Barber Shop and decided to give it a shot because there is no way that it could look worst then it already did, so i went in and they fixed me right up they even touched up some of my gray hairs for free.
Wolfe Nursery
My wife was wanting a plant called a "Indian Carnation" It is a small plant that grows about 3 feet tall and slightly resembles a short tree. It has pretty little white flowers that look like carnations but smell like gardenias. We went to a friends for a bar-b-que and they had one and my wife just had to have one too! I searched high and low for this plant and could find it nowhere! I finally called Wolfe Nursery and they said they could order me one! I got a call the next week that they had gotten a shipment of them in so we went to pick one up. They went out of thier wasy to help me out and I won't forget that!!
Patty's Thrift Shop
Every once in awhile I get thrift store and garage sale fever. I like to go and mostly just look at garage sales and thrift stores. I don't know what it is about them it is just that every once in a while you can find somthing that you would never find anywhere else. Somthing about walking around in the midst of things from the past! I like finding my pots and pans I use for camping and the deer lease at these places just because the pots and pans of today are not made as well and they are really over priced! Patty's is a place I always go when I'm in one of these moods. The have a very well organized and clean store!
Golds Gym
I recently got turned onto the whole gym scene by a friend of mine. It has sent me in search of the perfect gym for me. Gold's let me come in on a one day pass. I was impressed with the place they had alot of nice equipment and a swimming pool. They had a basketball court. The staff was very helpful at showing me around and explaining everything! They did try to use a high preasure sign up tactic on me but I explained that I was still shopping around. I can't stand it when people do that to me and even though it has been the best gym I have looked at so far and the price was very reasonable. I would not pick them because I don't like being preasured like that. To me if the place is that great high preasure sales is not neccesary the place will sell itself! high preasure or pushy salesman is always a red flag to me!
Olympic Gym
A friend of mine is a member here and talked me into coming one time as a guest! I agreed and met him there one Saturday afternoon! I was reluctant cause I work a very physical job as an iron worker and didn't see the point in working out at a gym! I changed my mind about all that after my first visit! There is a big difference in working at physical labor and working out! The equipment seem to relieve stress to the body instead of adding to it. I felt refreshed and energized after I left there. The staff was very helpful showing me how to use the different equipment and explaining what each piece of epuipment was used for! I haven't joined this club but plan on joining one. I want to shop around first and not join in haste!
Taylor Refrigeration
I was working out of town and my wife called and said that the hot water heater wasn't working. I had her call a repair place. She ended up calling Taylor's. The problem was the minerals that we have in our water. Over time they build up in the water heater and end up ruining the heating element! Instead of just replacing the heating element we decided to purchace a new and larger water heater. Taylors came out and installed the new heater and had our home with hot water in no time! It was comforting to know they were there to help when I wasn't. They did a great service for a very reasonable price!
Texas Floors & Maintenance Inc
I bought a mobile home and placed it out of town on some acerage! I was interested in the place as an investment as well as a place to get away on the weekends and a place close to where the good deer hunting is during deer season! The Texas Hill Country is definatly a good place for all that. Instead of putting skirting around the bottom of the mobile home, I decided to use the plentiful rock resources that were everywhere in the area. I hired Texas Floors. I was told they had some of the best masons around. They did a great job on rocking it all in and it blended with the landscape so much better! I was real happy with the results and the price!
Card Cage
I wanted to buy some Christmas cards for my huge family and when I was walking around in Ingram Mall buying some last minute Christmas presents for my kids and brothers and sisters I saw the Card Cage with a big sign saying huge sale on cards so I went in and couldn't believe my eyes on all the great cards that I was seeing that were so resonably priced I bought enough for my entire family and took them home for my wife to fill out and address them. She too was impressed with the quality of the cards that I got for such a low price!
