i was shopping for plaques for my friend's child's school soccer team. Gnieweks had a good variety of plaques in a wide ranging prices. i found a good deal at this place.
the place is accessible especially well as it is located right off michigan avenue. my first impression was not so good as the display looked cluttered and they seem to be doing so many things in the same place. i did not know that they carried clothes - for example. the place would look much better with some professional help on their displays. but i got a good deal on what i was looking for and so i am satisfied.
i wanted to get a customized mail box sign. i wanted to check out this place as it had a catchy hoarding. the staff was helpful and they explained to me the actual process of sign making and also gave a good looking one.
the have their workshop right there in the store - so if you are a bit allergic about wood shavings and dust, be on the guard.
i would certianly go again in the future if i was looking for a new sign.
i found a good set of craft needles at a bargain price in this store. i went there looking for embroidery threads and i was pleasantly surprised to find this good comprehensive set.
the display is quite good. my first impression was quite good - especially because i always look for some new creative project ideas whenever i visit craft shops such as this - and i found a couple of them here.
the name of the establishment is infact a bit misleading to the range that they carry.
the place is easily accessible and the parking is not a problem.
i wanted to get a pair of good quality rackets for playing badminton in the summer. a friend recommended that strikes and trophies had some good variety. i agree.
the store is a bit cluttered and this may be their only negative point. i didnt seem to find the things that i needed at the first look but then with the help of the staff i did find the rackets that i needed.
the store is small and things are well arranged but it could do a well deserved make over. the location is approachable and parking is not a problem.
A friend of mine recommended this place in Taylor. I was reluctant to go there especially because it was a bit far away from my place. but i think it was worth the effort.
i went to american tool for buying a set of sheet metal boxes for my craft supplies. i wanted to make a present for my boy friend with some etching and painting.
i think the differentiating factor of this place compared to others is their careful segregation of displays as per the customer's interest. also their project ideas were creative and refreshing for a novice like me.
i was looking for a good mountain bike and so visited this place in westland. the place had a good variety of bikes in a wide range of prices. it was a good shopping experience.
i found the bike that i was looking for and bought it. unfortunately, within a couple of weeks, the seat tore apart. when i took it back, the staff were apologetic and exchanged the bike with a brand new one. that was quite nice of them. i would certainly recommend this place for your sporting goods needs.
i found this neatly maintained store when i was mall walking doing some window shopping. i could try out a good variety of tuxedoe's and also found the ambience pleasant.
there is another tux store on the second floor of the fairlane mall but i think the neatly managaed displays attracted me to this place.
i had recommended this place to a friend of mine and he told me that he bought a tux and also told me that referals would get a handsome gift!!! i am waiting to visit the store during my next visit to know more about their specials.
my friend recommended that i check out this repair place. since i own a violin and a guitar, i need frequent supply of strings. i found this place quite useful in this sense.
they had some nice variety of used instruments and i found them priced at good prices. would certainly recommend to someone looking for some good deals on used violins.
the place is inexpensive but a friend of mine did not like the approach road. other than that this place is value-for-money.
i needed a good bow to go with my old violin. i wanted to replace the fiber on the bow and so went to this place in westland. i found a good price for the bow.
the musical instrument displays were attractive. they have a full rack solely on non-electronic classical instruments. such displays are difficult to find in other places these days - where anything electronic is considered good. the staff were quite knowledgeable and i think i would go there again.
i wanted to retune my old guitar with some new strings. went to guitar center as it was close to my apartment. i found some good deal on the strings and the staff also tuned my guitar.
i walked down the store but i felt that their parking lot was quite big but not so well illuminated. the store itself was good. the sales person seemed to be quite knowledgeable and the background classifcal music - my favorite mozart - was a definite plus while shopping.
