The second floor children's section is excellent. this being on the second floor makes security easy. Selection of books is great. Music selection is very eclectic. Anything you want to borrow is there, movies, books on tape, anykind of book you want. The staff is very helpfull and do great with kids.
PROS: Selection, Staff, Music
This school is close to being overcrowded, but you wouldn't know it. Funding cuts have hurt some programs recently. The kids don't release energy enough during the once a week gym class. The tech factor is good. 5th graders doing power point on computers is impressive.
Great ER Staff, Doctors and nurses seem to care about everyone's wellbeing. Doctors gave advice beyond medicine concerning insurance. The kind of care from nurses you can only get at a great comunity hospital.
I think the cut off age for this children's museum should be about 6. With that said, my daughter was very entertained the whole time and cried when we had to leave. The staff was excellent, they did more that just clean up after the kids. They interacted well with them. I gave 3 and not 4 stars because the place is a little small.
PROS: location, membership get's you to all children's museums
Expect to see Springer on the TV and plenty of Italian guys talking about anything. Great service in an old school way. Also, expect to get a great haircut for a decent price.
Only 2 batting cages so you can expect to wait sometimes. The mini golf course is nice. Everything is very clean and clutter free. Prices are very reasonable. Video games are average.
PROS: Price, mini golf
This is a good city zoo. It's not a really big zoo and there aren't many different animals. The fact that it's free is the huge plus. That price though allows for some interesting people in there. Don't let your children wander too far.
PROS: Price, location
CONS: Small, not alot of animals
I was really impressed with Brookfield Zoo, the size of the zoo and the animal exibits. There is alot for kids to participate with and the fact that they served beer smoothed things over a bit. If you go more the twice a year I would recomend a membership.
PROS: Big, Animals don't die as often as Lincoln Park Zoo
Think of a pharmacy that is run down and neglected. Now think of a business that seems to prey on the poor, and yet offer nothing . The store front hasn't been updated in decades and I have no clue how they stay in business.
The fact the the rink is in the middle of the mall was a huge plus. I found everything clean and the rink very large. Every time I have gone, I haven't found the rink crowded. Staff has always been very pleasant. overall enjoyment from this facility.
