Located in the Haley Center, where many classes are held, it is probably the most convienent store for students. Prices are reasonable, you can also reserve books online early and recieve a 10% discount. The set up is great, and the staff are knowledgeable about books and courses. Also has lots of university clothing at great prices. Souvenirs are also really nice. There is no parking for the public so expect to park off campus and walk.
Anders is located very near campus and student apartments, so walking is an option of rmost students. If you prefer to drive they have their own parking lot, with quite a few spaces. They have very friendly staff that know the courses well, and can find books easily. The also sell great shirts and souvenirs as well as school supplies. The only drawback is that they tend to be a little more expensive then other book stores.
J&M has a great selection of all the books a student needs for classes. The staff are very helpful, they get books for you that you need fro certain classes. Prices are about the same as all other. Parking is ok, it is in a strip mall so on busy days you may have to walk a little bit. They also have great Auburn clothing for reasonable prices.
This pet store had a great collection of reptiles and furry friends. However, i went in search of a fish, and the ones they did have looked sickly (even for fish)! The store itself isn't very clean. It is located in an old shopping center, where most stores have left so parking is definately not a problem. The staff are friendly, but do not speak english real well. I also have some questions on how they got some of the reptiles, because permits on them are very hard to obtain.
Ellie is locate don college avenue, the main shopping street in Auburn. The clothes are very trendy, but expensive. Most shirts are about $34. They also have really nice accesories, shoes, jewlery and purses. The staff are friend;y and willing to help. However, praking is a major problem. The only parking available is meter parking, so you may be walking a little ways.
Provino's has awesome italian food for a reasonable price. Two people can eat for about $30. You get salad and bread with the meal (watch out for the garlic)! Excellent choice of dishes, even have some that you don't find at most resaurants. Parking is not a problem, and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. Plenty of seating so there is never too long a wait!
Krystal has some great burgers, that are cheap and quick to get. Open all the time so you never have to worry about closing. They even have mini burgers for the kids, or for a snack or large group. A lot like White Castle if you are from the north. Drive through is quick, and the service is great. Watch out for long lines around 1 or 2 in the morning because it is the only place open.
Zaxby's has some really good chicken, and its not real greasy like KFC's can be. It is a little expensive for what you get, an order of 10 chicken strips cost $8. You also have to pay extra for sauces other than the "Zaxby's Sauce." It is prepared quickly, excellent parking and the food is good.
Great food, and a fun way to eat. Pull up to the window, give them your order and they bring it out to you. You can either stay there or drive away. The service is very quick, and you don't even have to leave your car. Plenty of spaces to order, and they have awesome shakes and cheesy tots!
The taco bell here ahs just about the same menu as they do anywhere else. Great becaus eits open late, for when your out and about and nothing else is open, except most other people have the same idea. We once waited an hour for our food, at 10pm. Parking and prices are great. The food was good and just what we ordered, the only problem was the line. The drive through was just as long, if not longer.
