Cal Flower Shop
This is a very nice, small, and great flower shop. They have a wide assortment of flower and other small things. The salespeople are really knowledgeable- for example, what type of flowers to take to a wedding, engagement party, baby shower, etc. Their prices are very good and the quality is outstanding- the colors are so rich and vibrant. I love this place!!!!
Walnut Creek Pediatric Dentistry
I would not ask for a better place to take my kids, the doctors are really nice. They will explain all the procedures to your kids and make sure they feel very comfortable and on the kids first visit they will let parents come in to be with their children! They will clean your children's teeth, tell you if there are any problems, and send cards for checkups! The doctors are very very friendly and nice, and I highly reccomend this place!
Piedmont Springs
I have been here once but the wait was rather long. ( I guess it was bad I came on a Saturday afternoon!) But once I got inside it was very tranquil and relaxing. The people were very friendly when I got a seaweed wrap- those things are great! I've wanted to try one for a while- and they always asked if I was okay, needed any water, etc. The place was very clean and the staff was great- just don't go on a Saturday afternoon.
Benefit Cosmetics
Okay, so if you have been into Macy's, I am sure you have seen their little stand. They have seperate little shops and salons as well, which is what this is. They will makeover your face, to make makeup look more subtle, and tell you what looks good for your skin tone. They are pretty nice people, and their eyebrow waxes are great! But, just to show they don't even like their own line of cosmetics, I once caught a girl who worked there applying MAC eyeliner ON THE JOB! It was pretty funny, but nonetheless, Benefit is a nice place for a new makeup lesson.
Mahalo Flowers & Gifts
Maholo is a Hawaiian word for thank you- which is what you'll be saying onc ethey fin dthe perfect floral arrangement for you. They have a bunch of exotic Hawaiian and non Hawaiian flowers and little keepsakes. Their prices are quite good, and the flowers will live for a few weeks- even months if you take good care of them. I hope you go i nand check them out!
Magic Gardens Landscaping
Magic Gardens have a lot of variety (plants, stonework, etc). They have some ideas about how your yard might look better if you put plant A here, plant B there, etc, but they are flexible. You can call them for an estimate, and they are very nice. Their rates are great, but I suggest you have them come in for a consultation- just to make sure everyone knows what you have in mind.
Walnut Creek Chevrolet Cdllc
The cars here are great as are the people. Very nice quality cars. What impresses me the most, though, is the time that they put into the repairs. After a slight fender bender last year, we took our car in and- WOW!- the bodywork was great. They have a night owl service for dropping off your car (s) and also they have a great customer service / help line if you ever need it. I suggest you check them out!
Toyota Of Walnut Creek
Toyota (like Honda) manufactures many great, gas conserving cars at a great price (Please, you don't need a Hummer). At Close to 50 mpg, and a great price, they are a bargain. This dealer is clean, and upon requesting a test drive I saw the people were really nice and helpful. I did not end up actually purchasing a car but in the furutre I will definetally consider it!
San Francisco Spca
The spca is a great organization with great people running it who loves cats, dogs, and other small critters who are abandoned, sick, or need help. They feed the animals, and nurture them back to health. I love this place- when you adopt, they are very stern in making sure you are right for the pet. You can even do checkups there, and you can always call with questions about your new baby.
Mona's
This is a nice salon, pretty good, not too crowded inside, but good luck finding parking on the street- a busy Monday morning of Friday won't do. You have to be careful as well, not to let your car be too close to another. Hello, accident! Anyways, I am sure you will walk out satisfied with you hair color and cut, but (as with all stylists) don't talk a lot.. they just want to talk all dayy.. and of course, that's charging you for talking. Be sure you say exactly what type of cut/color you want. Good luck!
