This store used to be your average craft store with a ho-hum yarn selection. But, they must have a new buyer there, because their yarn selection is ever-growing. Prices are pretty decent, selection is great! Lots of wool and other natural fibers. Even the acrylic for the non-discerning knitter.
Wow! Pullman needed this place in the worst way! They opened a few years ago, and have been under construction - expanding ever since! The bowling is fun, food is decent, and now they've added a card room.
I've only bowled there, and the moonlight bowling is so much fun! Service is what you would expect from such a place, as are prices. But, overall a really good place - good for families and college students alike.
I used this as the venue for my wedding. We loved this place - it's a historical site and so beautiful! It hardly even needed decorating.
We hired Mark, who works here as a bartender for the evening. He was GREAT!!!!! He acted as the coordinator as well as the bartender. All of his ideas throughout the planning process put me completely at ease. He's been with the opera house for a few years - it shows - in a great way!
He worked so well with our group, and even let the party go until 12:30, when we were supposed to leave at 12. :)
Decent price on the rental, but an even better bargain because you can have the ceremony and reception there, and they let you hire your own caterer, and bring your own alcohol!
I went here a couple of times when planning my wedding. They sell shoes, flower girl baskets, cake servers, invitations, etc. Basically, all the little wedding stuff.
Both of the times I went there, I had to ask for help even though there was nobody else in the store. I did buy some shoes there, but only because they were on sale.
Their prices seemed high, but then again, everything wedding related is expensive!
I bought my wedding ring here after looking around at numerous places. I found the ring I liked in February, but didn't buy it since it was early in my ring search. However, in June, I decided this was the ring I really wanted.
Of course, when I went back, it was gone. However, the salesperson worked with me to find the ring in their computer system with my vague descriptions. She was so helpful!!! I bought my ring there. I would definitely return based on the great service I received.
We used the Tuxedo Club for the grooms and groomsmen tuxes for the wedding. The one negative about this place is that it only has one location, so a few of the groomsmen had to travel a bit to get measured. However, the service you receive there MORE than makes up for it. The owner, Bob prides himself on making hard-to-fit guys look good. He carries his tuxes in all different sizes - from small to very large (Seahawks players). His prices are a touch higer than say, the Men's Warehouse, but in my mind, the service makes up for it. I would rather pay a bit more ($5-$10) for great service and to support a local business rather than give my money to some chain store.
I bought my wedidng dress here. I was fairly pleased with the service - the first time I went in, I worked directly with the owner, Angela to find a dress. She was so helpful! When I found the dress I wanted, she told me it was going to be in a sample sale the next week. She offered to hold it for me so that I could buy it at the special sale price the next week. I was very impressed by that. I went back to try on the dress before buying it, and it was a little tough to get service, but they were VERY busy due to the sale, so it was completely understandable.
They were able to recommend a good seamstress for alterations, and they steamed my dress for free prior to the wedding.
I thought she had a GREAT selection of dresses at GREAT prices. The best part is that she had several dresses in lots of different sizes (tiny to large) to try on - most bridal salons only carry one size to try on, and just clip it shut. This way you can actually see what the dress will look like on you!!!
I used Brittany Flowers for my wedding in July 2005. The owner, Patty was absolutely wonderful - she took my vauge ideas and direction and created beautiful boquets and arrangements. Her prices were very fair, and she was even able to offer money-saving tips on centerpieces. She also let us borrow some vases and pedastals for our flowers. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
