I would never give this company a real estate listing. I would even find a different house if they were the listing agent on a property I liked.
Unprofessional, tacky, poor manners. Arrogant management. I have never heard anything good about this agency. There's too many good agents willing to work hard for you.
I read the reviews, but went anyway since I was part of a group. I set my expectations really low thinking they most certainly would be exceede. Unfortunately, I can't even remember a restaurant experience this poor. And it was off season and NOT busy.
Upon arrival, we greeted the hostess who pointed to our table. We sat down unaccompanied without menus. I saw that the same hostess point to the table when the rest of our party arrived.
Our waitress, who never introduced herself and was a soft talker, handed us a drink list when asked if there were any specials. She could only take our orders in counterclockwise direction, even though she was writing notes. Drinks came in an appropriate amount of time.
After some time she finally returned for our dinner orders. When the appetizers came, she handed us our app. plates, rather than setting on table. When salads were delivered so was the coleslaw (I know some places do this, but think it's weird). Finally dinner came, except one dish. Apparently another waitress took the meal from the kitchen. So, while everyone else ate, one sat without their dinner.
We had to ask for drinks when she reappeared.
Regarding the food: Salads were bathed in dressing. Didn't have a vinaigrette dressing available for one diner with our party. Portion sizes were adequate. Food flavor was oh so bland. Not far from nursing home food. The jerk chicken lacked the jerk. The Key West Mahi was plain. The friend shrimp was just OK. The steaks were acceptable.
We asked for dessert. Which was the only tasty thing about the meal, but it's obvious they buy pre-made.
And it's not cheap. Entrees range from $14 to $22, but seem to average about $16.
Finally, the check. It included 17% gratuity. I usually tip more, but in this case I think she got lucky. I think it's tacky to add in gratuity for locals, even with a party of 8 or more.
In summary, skip it. There's other great places nearby for seafood and other fare.
Dolin's offers a wide variety of plants. Offers the usual supplies, too. Staff is knowledgeable. We've purchased several trees there. If you buy at the end of a season, there's often clearance type pricing. Be sure to dig around in the plants on the west side of the building for extra savings.
Editted in 2007: NOW CLOSED!
This center has it all" trees, shrubs, flowers, roses, orchids, supplies. Quality is unmatched. Prices reflect superb quality, however. Staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. They will educate you on a purchase. Offers seminars and clinics, too.
I came to this MD on a recommendation an have been completely satisfied. Staff is pleasant. It's easy to get an appointment. Doctor is professional and knowledgeable. Offers usual office hours. Closed during lunch. Accepts a wide variety of insurance. Even gave me a free flu shot during one the the flu shot shortages.
Easy parking. Extended hours: early, late and weekend. Offers an adequate selection of creams and lotions, but not extensive. Has flat beds and a standing booth. Often busy, be sure to make an appointment. Because their busy, you don't get the name recognition/personal service as with some salons. Mid range on pricing. Packages are a best bet.
Locally owned and operated, this tanning salon is a no frills place to get a good tan. Beds are well maintained. Offers spray tanning. Prices in the middle of the range. Best to get multi-use package. Offers all the creams and lotions. Not too busy, can almost always get in without an appointment.
Always professional. Designers do great work. Variety of items other than flowers. Seasonal items, too, like Christmas. Friendly staff. Snell Island location is difficult if you want to go to the store, but they take orders over the phone.
PROS: friendly, professional, nice work
This is a smaller salon. Owner is also a stylist. A couple other chairs. Offer more than hair. Nails and some spa services. Prices are reasonable. Hours are extended. Parking is tough as its a small busy plaza. Do a good job.
I was given a full day spa treatment gift certificate to this salon and made an appointment. Took off work, etc. to go. Called me two days before the appointment to say that the cosmetologist wasn't scheduled to come in that day. Why make an appointment with me if you don't have someone to work that day? I got a refund and went somewhere else.
It's a giant salon that offers everything and they try to sell you shampoos, nail supplies, etc. A big sales pitch from the moment you walk in the door.
CONS: inconsiderate, unprofessional
