I went to see Doctor Chudi for my second child, he came highly recommended. His staff was always very helpful. The waiting room, although I didn't spend much time in it was clean and comfortable. He would explain all the test performed, what they were for, why they were needed, etc. Also he provided lots of help in answering all questions I had.
Georgia Clinic-Peachtree Cors
I took my daughter here after she was first born as I had just moved to the area want didn't want to travel to far with a newborn. The nurses and doctors were very nice and explained everything they were doing. How every she need to have a blood test and at that age the only way to do it was through the heal of her foot. They pricked her foot and began to squeeze it causing blood to cover the little paper where a small dot was supposed to go. In addition the test was so messed up that they wanted to put my daughter through another foot prick and squeeze to redo the test. It took me forever to calm her after the test and there was no way I was going to put her through that again! Needless to say I never went back.
Meskerem Ethiopian Restaurant
This restaurant provides wonderful food with authentic music and incense. The smell as you walk in helps locate you to another place, Ethiopia. The menu choices are extensive and the crowds of Ethiopians really make you feel like you have actually left Georgia, especially with the amharic and other languages being spoken around you. It was a great find and the food was very good. They have options for those who don't eat meat and others like me that do. I really enjoyed the enjera to soak up the wat (a dish that comes with hard boiled eggs and chicken) it sounded weird, but it was very delicious. The dishes can be a slight bit spicy though. There were plenty of parking spaces. I would definitely go again.
Apex Museum
I greatly enjoyed the experience I had at the Apex museum. Never before had I seen so much history regarding the African American experience. I spent hours looking over the photos and stories of so many. The videos helped to capture even more of what it was like for them to experience being black in America throughout history. Besides the wonderful, eye opening enlightenment you will receive the price can't be beat either.
Braves Museum and hall of fame
I'm not a baseball fan, so i wasn't thrilled with the idea of spending time in a baseball museum. Among the halls of baseball facts, trivia, and memorabilia it was nice to look at the old pictures. The price was reasonable, even though I wasn't paying, and I wouldn't have either as I am not a baseball fan. However it was educational and I learned somethings I never knew before. I think this place would be perfect for someone with interests in baseball or the braves. Those who have no interest in either should stay away, you will get bored.
Baby Gap
I received a baby shower gift from Baby Gap. It is still adorable and has little wear after two kids. The clothes are cute and affordable. I was greatly surprised at how long the product lasts when others often fade after so much washing.
Arby's
I enjoy shopping at zales. They often have sales and clearance on a large selection of jewelry. The jewelers are always nice and helpful in helping me pick out a selection. They don't have a hard sales approach trying to convenience to buy something.
Gymboree
Gymboree has really adorable clothing but the prices can hurt your budget when you shop for three little ones. However the sale rack has adorable clothes and the gymbucks help add up to savings. One or two nice pieces could work into anyone's budget. Regular priced items can be $30 for a simple dress.
Animals Childrens Clothing
Animals has some of the most adorable I've seen. My daughter especially loves the adorable backpacks and personalized items. They have really creative ideas for gifts and decor. The online selection is a little limited, but it's fun to visit the store. It was hard to get my daughter to leave without a special purchase for herself. The prices are reasonable on the pocket book to.
Dar-un-Noor School
The school provides small classes teaching not only the basics of education, but also Arabic and Islamic studies. It is a two story building with classrooms, computer lab, and other facilities. My daughter really enjoyed going to there program. The only drawback is that the school costs about $500 a month per child plus the costs of books and uniforms.
