Nail Pretty
I've been to this salon a few times because I tend to go to this part of the city pretty often. The first time I went, I did not have an appointment, but, I was taken pretty quickly. They do have great selection of polish and the customer service is excellent. I liked the fact that the polish itself did not chip until about a month later because the lady qho did my nails allowed EACH COAT, both the undercoats, overcoats, and colored coats to completely dry bfore applying a new one. The prices were very reasonable, and I always like to come back to the salon whenever I am in the neighborhood to get my nails done because the polish lasts for a long time!
Lavande Nail Spa
I've been to this salon a few times, and the experience was pretty good, but, nothing out of he ordinary. Their selection of nail polish was not so great, but, I found a red that I wanted. The customer service was pretty good because the lady who was doing my nails did make good conversation. The prices were pretty affordable. I would recommend this place, but, the salon is nothing out of the ordinary.
Lee Nail Care
I've been to Lee Nail Care a few times, and I have always had a great experience. The first time I went was to do my nails for my high school graduation. Since I had fake nails, they took extra care of me. The lady suggested that I get silk nails because they are better for you nail, they do less damage thsn the normal fake nails. The two ladies who work there are very friendly, and also, the other customers who come here like to talk and chat with everyone in the store. When the two lady's heard it was my graduation,ade sure my nails were perfect. Also, because I got a French Manicure and the polish of one of the nails chipped and messed up before I left the salon, they re-did my entire nail and applied fresh polish. I was able to keep these fake nails on for about a month before the polish began to chip and the nails began to come off. The prices are very goood, and I would definately reommend this place to everyone I know.
Diamond Nails
I went to Nail Salon once before with a few friends when I was in the area. I did not have an appointment, but, only had to wait 15 minutes tops. I picked out a color, and told the lady how Long I wanted my nails to be, because I like to grow out my natural nails, instead of getting fake ones. She did not understand me AT ALL, and cut the nail so it was very short. Also, she did not let me dry my nails in between coats, and the coats were applied VERY thinly. The polish began to chip the next day when I took a shower, and by the next 2 days, everything chipped off completely. The prices were pretty affordable, but, I would not recommend this place to very many people.
Cowboys & Angels
I went to Cowboys and Angel's because my mother's customer at her deli recommended it to me. The first time I went, I was VERY impressed with the salon because it was high quality, but, the customer service was great. I got my hair colored, cut, and styled, and was very impressed with the job that was done. It was EXACTLY what I wanted, and even though I can find other salons with slightly cheaper prices, I don't mind paying a little extra because they always do a great job. I alway senjoy coming to this salon whenever I have time to go to the area, but, i would not recommend driving there because you can NEVER find a good parking place...Also, they tend to tow your car after arouhnd 3pm. So, I advice you to take a bus, or have someone drop you off.
Hair Play
I went to Hair Play once before because my cousin recommended the place to me. I had an okay experience with the salon. When I wanted to make an appointment, it toook me FOREVER to find a time that was availabe and at a good time for me. When I finally went to get my hair cut, I told the lady exactly what I wanted and she did a oretty good job. Even though she cut my hair a little shorter than I wanted, I did not mind because the layers were exactly how I wanted them. The prices are pretty affordable, but, the parking was somewhat hard to find.
Susan Beauty Salon
I've been to this salon about 2 times for both a manicure anbda pedicure. For both times, I did not make an appointmnet, but, I did not have to wait for more than five minutes because the ladies who help you work pretty fast. When it was my turn, I picked out a color, and the lady began to work immediately. I notinced she opened a new pack of supplies, which is extremely important. She worked very quickly, but still made sure to allow me to sry my nails before applying another coat, like you are supposed to do. The customer serivice is pretty goooid, and the prices are reasonable.
Eddy Market
I've only been to this store one time before when I was in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. This grocery store sells cigarettes, beer, wine, some groceries, chips, candy, sodas, and other goodies. The prices are pretty reasonable and the customer service is alright. If you are in this area, this is an okay place to go for snacks and other goodies.
Girl Stuff
I used to pass by this store a bunch of times and thought it was somewhat interesting. When my cousin had a baby, I went back to this store because it not only had clothes for children and for adult women. The clothing for children are very cute. They have outfits for both girls and boys, like cute dresses and suits. They also have a geat variety of clothing for females, like jackets, sweaters, t-shirts, sweaters, and even jewlery. I was happy becaiuse i was able to find a baby shower gift AND clothes and jewery for myself all at the same place. Also, because the prices were pretty reasonbale, the situation was made better.
Azalea Boutique
I had a hard time finding a father's day gift to give my dad this year. I asked my friends for a few suggestions, and one told me to go to this clothing store. This is a men's clothing store with a variety of clothes, from jeans, slacks, shirts, and sweaters. I found about five dress shirts I knew my fathter would like, and I was surprised at the great prices. If I went to Macy's or Nordstrom, I would have paid double for them. I would recommend this store to anyone.
