Jersey Mike's Subs
We frequent this place cuz the subs are always good. The deli meats appear fresh and the bread is nice, too. The prices are comprable and so are the salads. The service is quick. Be sure to check your mail for coupons at Jersey Mike's as they send them out monthly. Good food.
Courtside Cafe
The reason I like this place is because it has outside dining in a sweet fence enclosed atmosphere. The food is good for burger or appetizers and a few drinks on a nice day. They try their best by having monthly or bi-monthly themes in the patio area. After shopping along Greenville Blvd., this is a nice place to relax. Right next to Kmart and Checkers.
Hilton Greenville
When I moved to the area, I inquired about a restaurant that was simple NICE. I found it here. The Bistro serves a lovely dinner for romance. Real cloth tablecloths, wine, etc. Attentive wait staff and some lovely music. This would be a perfect place for a nice, relaxed dinner or celebrating an aniversary.
Boss Hogs Backyard Barbeque
This is a great eatery where one can always find locals. People swear by this place and it gets a thumbs up from me, too. The food tastes fressh. The service is quick. The prices are rather reasonable. The pulled pork is a lot better than I can make. Grab your chicken wings here instead of bothering to make them at home.
Mesh Cafe
This is a privately owned nightclub. Whoever owns it has been around the States, you can tell by the atmosphere. There is an actual chef who prepares real meals. You can tell. There is great music and you never leave there not meeting someone new. Drinks are a little pricey, but you are paying for the atmosphere and opportunity to have a 4 star meal.
McAlister's Deli
The food is pretty good, fresh anyway. Made to order. Personally, I think it's a little pricey and on Football games days it is mobbed and a long wait. Their inside sign claims to have great tasting hot dogs. My daughter and I bith disliked them. There are salads, deserts, sandwiches. I know it's a populat place, but I would go to Quiznos over Mcalister's any day.
Ham's Restaurant & Brew House
This is a fun place with a casual atmosphere. With the college students, weekend nights can be a little loud, congeted but often I will take my child in in late afternoons to enjoy the full menu-- wings, salads, sandwiches, great bar items. They even have Kaeriokee nights. Grab your girlfriends and have some fun.
The Admirals Cup Coffeehouse
Beleive it or not, there are not that many decent cups of coffee in the area. Being a transplant here from the Northeast, that's just how I feel. I like Admirals atmosphere, quick service. There coffee is better than par for the course in Greenville. They also have breakfast snacks as well that taste nice and fresh.
Chop Chop Chinese Food
I ordered delivery one night and the food was here within 15 min. Once I tasted it, I wasn't too suprised that they were here so quickly. Friendly delivery guy but the food seemed too greasy for me and it didn't have that Fresh taste. There are others to choose from in the area, so I doubt I would order here again. prices reasonable.
Strawberry Fair Restaurant
This is one of those privately owned restaurants from the good ole days. It looks like a house. The food is very countryish. The prices are above average. The restaurant tables close together but it all adds to the comfy ambience of this place. Try it for breakfast, u will enjoy.
