Deluxe Bakery is a small shop in a small town, but don't underestimate them. They have very delicious cakes and pasteries. I live on the other side of the island but when it is time to buy a cake for someones birthday I will go to Deluxe to buy it. A must try is their Chantilly cake you will never eat it from anyone else again. The cake itself just melts in your mouth. It is to die for.
There used to be not to much here at the Waipahu Town Center. Everytime I go there they seem to suprise me. There is alot to find there. There is a variety of eating places. You can find the House of Pancakes, Korean, american and alot more. It is now turning to a one stop shop. Their selection ranges from Jewelry, longs, banks, car repair, 99 cent store, foods, clothing, gas, video store and lots more.
For Japanese products, if you can't find it anywhere else it is here. Shirokiya has everything from a bakery to electronics, massagers, bedding and more. The staff is always friendly. A great place to pick up a gift or get a gift card they are guaranteed to find what they want and like here. They also have a restraunt inside the store when you want to rest and have a seat ...when looking at everything they have you'll need a break.
There is everything in this building. There is a nail salon, eateries, clothing shop, game room, photography and more along with a big screen T.V. for all the men that hate to shop. The market itself is kind of smelly because of the fish department. But worth going because things especially produce are cheap. I would go to the swapt meet or farmers markets to buy produce but why walk in the hot sun when you can get it for the same price here.
Price Busters has a good variety in all holiday items. They have very good prices as well. Everything here is cheaper than the stores. They have everything from housewares to toys and baby things. I usually check here before going anywhere else. Their staff is always friendly and pleasant with a big smile.
You need to take the time to search for what you want. I usually allow a few hours in this store. Things are not organized like other clothing stores. But I can get away with spending less than $10.00 on an out fit. They have name brands at discounted prices. But beware and examine the clothes well it may be discounted because of a stain or a small hole. Their clearance rack is awsome. They don't only sell clothing they have shoes, luggages, beddings, candles, recipe books, frames, purses, jewerly and lots more.
I found that Leeward Bowl is one of the cheaper bowling alleys. They are pretty clean as well. The service is good, when you need help they try their best to assist you. They do have a little food window. Their food is pretty good but it takes a while to make. They also have a variety of video games for the kids.
Tony Roma's is a great place for a meal. The prices are not too bad. The food is great along with the service. The restraunt is clean. If you are planning to eat dinner here, I suggest that you arrive early and dine in before their evening rush. They do not have enough parking to accommodate all their customers. They also have a bar for those wondering.
I have taken my children here for years and we don't have one complaint, yet. My children actually look forward to their check ups. In the waiting room they have a television always on the Disney Channel. The Dentist and their assistants are always so pleasant. My kids just love to pick out a toy when the visit is done. They have made something known to be dreaded and unpleasant very joyful.
Todai has very delicious food, lots of variety. It is a buffet all you can eat. If it is your birthday your meal is on the house (with one paying adult), all you need is an ID. They have everything from sushi to crab legs. The foods, deserts, and service all great.
