This shop is conveniently located off of Polaris Parkway. In fact, they just opened a new shop (in their own building) because of their growth. It's a great place to shop and the sales people are there to help newbies or seasoned pros. They have virtually anything you could want for the slopes. Stop in and check them out.
It seems that everytime we went to First Choice, we would have a different experience. Sometimes my kids got great cuts - other times, I could have done a better job myself. We've decided it's not worth the risk and found another shop.
Pizza Hut is not the best but certainly not the worst pizza. This location is a pick-up/delivery only. The pizzas are just like any other Pizza Hut pizza you've ever had. It seems that the pepperoni gets crispier each time so we don't order much from them anymore. Delivery time is comparable to other pizza restaurants in the area.
Tarantos serves a great pizza. It's made-to-order and it's always fresh and warm. They offer delivery and have a small dining room. The only problem that we've ever had is that their popularity has caught on and sometimes you can have quite a wait. It's an inconvenience but we still think it's worth the wait.
Burlington Coat Factory obviously doesn't specialize in kids furnishings. Although they have a pretty reasonable selection of kids clothes, they don't have a wide selection of furnishings. They have more accessories (e.g. wall hangings, mobiles, etc.). Most everything they had was available from other stores and they really weren't priced any better.
We furnished our baby girl's room with My Own Room products. We've continued to add and replace as she has gotten older. They have a lot of items and manufacturers to choose from. They are also willing to spend as much time as you need helping you review your options and make selections. They also recently called us to tell us that one of our sets was being discontinued so if we needed new items, we should get them now. That was a nice service.
Two Men and a Truck were very helpful when we had to move from our condo to our house. They were very punctual and took great care when packing our stuff. I was pretty pleased with them overall and they were competitively priced.
This has been a great place to take our dog for her medical care. All caregivers have such an obvious love for animals they sometimes forget about the pet owners! Our girl was so excited to meet the doctor and the doctor didn't seem to mind at all when Lucy peed on her! Besides regular immunizations and check-ups, she was also spayed there and they did a great job. Recommended!
The concept of Half Price Books is a good one - recycle books so you don't have to pay full retail price. Most books are in good+ condition. The biggest con I've found is the location. It is in an office park with very little signage so most people wouldn't think to look for a retail store in this location.
This appears to be multiple stores in one location, making it hard to find. Additionally, it is in a corporate office complex that you wouldn't think to look for a retail school supply store. However, once you do find it, you will be pleasantly surprised with its offerings. They have a variety of educational games, workbooks, toys, etc. They have a children's area when you enter the store, so the kids are immediately entertained as they "test drive" many of the toys. Also, with each purchase, they include freebies for kids like suckers, pencils, etc. and a notepad for the adult. Very thoughtful. They also have unique hours (Sat shorter hours, longer on one week night) so call ahead.
